Between my move-in date of August 5, 2023 and my move-out date of October 28, 2023, I experienced poor customer service, a massive pest (weevil) infestation, improper explanation of complex policies that led to issues moving in at the loading dock and issues finding my car after it was towed for not having a parking permit for the garage. Staff showed a serious lack of concern as I desperately requested efficient pest control for the entire month of September, allowing a weevil infestation noticed in my kitchen pantry (that had small holes in the wall) to spread to every room in the apartment and to infest my furniture and food. I had to throw away hundreds of dollars in property and deal with resentment from leasing office staff as I expressed the burden on my mental and financial well-being while demanding more than their routine pest control visits on Fridays. I am not sure why pest control only came on Fridays but I am confident that their pest issues are ongoing and rampant based simply on the fact that I requested to be moved to another unit once it became clear that they would not address my units infestation and discovered weevils in another units pantry when shopping my next unit. I lived in **** and found weevils in the pantry of **** when taken on a tour to determine if I wanted to move. I broke my lease instead just to be free of these pests! I have never in my life had to deal with a bug infestation of this level and I am saddened to have lost my furniture and my peace of mind for so long with little effort from the Mark at Brickyard to resolve the issue. I can only thank their property manager for breaking my lease without penalty before resigning from the property herself. I absolutely would NOT recommend moving in here without inspecting the units closely and reviewing the pest control policy. The staff are not going to support your needs once you are locked in and you may not be as lucky breaking your lease as I was.
