The x-chair is easy to put together and comfortable. However, I ordered it with the complete package, heater and massager. The massager and heater are terrible and very disappointing considering the price. Timer for both doesn't last long and can barely notice either one. I did the review on Survey Monkey. Much to my surprise, X-chair reached out and indicated many purchasers had problems with both those features. They expressed a willingness to send a new part to see if that was better or refund the price difference. I chose the refund. I greatly appreciated that they reached out without me raising a stink and offered what they did. Other than those items, I like the chair. Having said that, I would not opt for the massage and seat heater.

Good chair with two design flaws; company won’t post my review My X1 is overall a good chair and an improvement on my (much cheaper) La-Z-Boy Joel chair. But the design of the arms has apparently been cheapened since the documentation was created, which means I can’t get them to the needed height.     The documentation says that there’s a button to lock and unlock the position, which I wish I had. My newer model has a ratchet, so if I move an arm to full height, it slides back down again. As Randy K.’s review notes, this also makes it easy to lose your adjustment. The initial adjustment is now difficult, requiring trial and error.     The second design flaw is that the swivel on the headrest is too loose, so that it often moves out of position when you actually rest your head against the headrest. Later: As a workaround for the first flaw, I bought Memory Foam Office Chair Arm Pads. For the second, raising the headrest somewhat reduced the loose rotation around the horizontal access, but it still will not deploy far enough forward. Even later: The company wouldn’t post this review on the chair’s web site, so be sceptical of the ratio of favorable reviews there.

Chair absolutely now worth near the $1000.00 that was purchased on sale. Now I know why there are not customer reviews on the XCHAIR website. The message/heating/cooling is only for a portion of the chair and it does not sit as comfortable as my 7 year old basic office chair. Now there is a $149.99 return fee.

I purchased an $1,800 X-Chair online after visiting a retailer who told me the return policy only required 90 days minimum after purchase. I have tried to use this chair for severl months, with the result that my back problems have worsened, and according to my doctor the result of the chair I'm using all day for work. I just contacted X-Chair and their respons is that returns must be made within 30 days of purchase. Thiis company does not stand behind their product, which, by the way, is far inferior to other office chair manufacturers. Incidentally, after sending me to their retailer to try the chair, they now say they don't work with the retailers. This company lies to customers to make the sale and then refuses returns. Sad.

If I could give zero stars I would I returned the xchair that I had for 1 day due to how uncomfortable and painful the chair is. I followed all proper instructions for returning the item. The company received the item a d has yet to refund my money of $870. This is unacceptable as I work very hard for my money and have been calling and emailing everyday to get the run around. I want my money back or I'll have to get my attorney involved soon. Please refund my money and this company should be shut down.

ZERO STARS. It is pretty astounding that I pay over $1000 for a chair and $100 for an accessory and the exchange process is horrible compared to other companies. You would think that customer service would look after their customers better when selling THOUSAND-dollar products. I have to pay my own shipping to send back a "massage" unit that looks and feels like a wish.com vibrating piece of foam. Unreal. The unit also looked used! Scuffs on the plastic covering and lint on the foam. I also wanted to UPGRADE to the memory foam seat and they want to charge a $150 restocking fee. None of this has been worth my time or money. The chair itself is NOT even that comfortable. My IKEA chair was just as good as this one(X3). I am ashamed of myself for not reading these honest reviews sooner. I tried talking to customer service and I got the "sorry these are our terms" runaround. They offered me a footrest for my troubles. A footrest. No thank you. I should have read their terms better before spending an arm and a leg on their products. They win this one, shame on me. But I hope people become aware that they sell way overpriced products and have sneaky terms. Please read other reviews and be warned. I am a customer service rep myself and I NEVER write reviews, but come on X chair, this is a failure.

Hi Katie, Thank you for reaching out, and we're sorry to hear about your experience. As mentioned, we do outline the policy for both accessory and chair return on our website for review so you can make the best choice to move forward with your purchase. In regards to returning a chair with the intent to purchase an alternative model, which is how we process exchanges, the return fee is only initially added to your RMA, and then removed upon purchase of the other chair. I do see that the representative you were working with included that information in the email sent, in addition to offering either a footrest, or a $50 credit towards the purchase of the chair you were looking to exchange for. If you want to move forward with the aforementioned exchange, a return, or need any other assistance please reach out via xchair.com/service

I placed the order for my X Tech Rose Red Chair on September 1, 2022 Lead time was between 10-12 weeks or so I have received (3) different shipments compromised of the following since 12/20/22 - Wheels - Arm rests - Foot Rests - Elemax Cooling, Heat and Massage Therapy accessory Of Course to make this all work I need the chair and I was told in late Dec it was coming in a next few days and they would be shipping it out soon, they offered to give me the tracking number, but I said if it ships I will see the notice thru email and track it from there Called toady to follow up and now I am told it won't ship until March 2023. I spent a lot of money for functional chair that need to be assembled, but NOT over the span of 6 months.

I paid $824.99 on approximately Nov. 26, 2022 for one MAVIX M9 chair. The business committed to providing me with a BRAND NEW chair: the MAVIX M9. They were having a Black Friday sale, normally the chair is priced at $999.99. I think they are committing fraud by doing so: older returned merchandise has been re-packaged and made to look new. Then it is sold at full price. The only reasons why I am saying this is because I received a very beaten up box, reapplied tape all over it covering a hole, an unsealed plastic (easily removable and put back on around the body of the chair), a dirt smudge on the actual body of the chair, and scuffs/scratches on the base. Additionally the website is very misleading. I was under the impression of a "no risk" 30 day trial, but there is a risk; they will revoke 130 dollars from the refund upon returning the item back to them. Another thing is what they are calling their "12 year warranty" isn't really 12 years. They are hoping you don't read the terms of their return and warranty policies, baiting for sales. See: **************************** (unfortunately only having found this video after I made the purchase). I contacted them via email and their solution was to send me a new base without scratches, refund me 50 dollars, and I am assumed to have to clean the dirt smudge off the white fabric myself. To me this is very miniscule and not an adequate enough solution. I want a brand new chair or to be able to return it for a full refund. They are not willing to work any further with me than what they have unless I pay them the 130 dollars to return the item to them. I may go to my bank and file a transaction dispute, but that doesn't always work. If and when I do that, I'm assuming they will ask to see a full thread of emails where I had tried to resolve the issue with MAVIX first. In any case they may side with them and say it had been resolved. Just for reference I might pay a total of $400 for one of these used. ripped me off

I ordered an X-Chair for my wife for her 70th birthday. She is 4’11” tall and hard to fit. I explained this to the salesman and asked if there was anyplace in or near Houston, TX where we could go see the chairs. He said there was not. I asked if we could return the chair if it did not work. He said we could. I ordered the chair. It did not work. I called to inform X-Chair that we were returning the chair. They informed me there would be a $150 charge. Why was that not explained to me during the order process? They suggested we try another chair at one of two dealers in Houston! In other words, the salesman lied to me during the ordering process. I do not think this is a company you want to do business with

Purchase Oct 12th 1:06 pm at said time, the webpage shows in stock! October 19th: I emailed asking where is the chair, but no shipping info, etc. reply back was sorry, they are reaching out to the warehouse to get shipped out ASAP October 21st: I email asking for an update, where is the shipping info, if you won't ship I will cancel the order! the response was it should ship in the next couple of days, it's committed to me so I will have to ship it back when I receive it. Oct26th: 5 days later and no communication from xchair for shipping info. At this time Xchair is holding my money hostage, preventing me from buying another chair that I am confident I will have better customer service with. At this point, it feels like they are holding me, hostage, from getting a refund to buy a chair that I can sit in. The website showed it was in stock. I don't see any reason why this has not shipped 14 days after I purchased it other than deceptive practices! if I could give them zero stars I would.
