  Had a bed bug infestation in my bedroom. Went with Bennett because they did heat treatment. Spent $1400.00 for the heat treatment and 6 weeks later the bed bugs were back. They wanted me to spend another $700.00 for them to treat again. Said they weren't responsible because the dog cleared the house. I am 75 yrs old. I go no where except Dr appts I live alone. No one stays at my house. All I can say is either the heat treatment doesn't work or it wasn't done correctly. Buyer beware!

  Bennett Termite & Pest Solutions performed safe and effective heat treatment at Ms. M*****'s home in response to a bed bug infestation. Three days after the heat treatment was performed, as part of the service, we had an inspection performed by ***********, using specially trained and certified dogs to inspect the property to confirm that all bed bugs present at the home had been eradicated. The *********** inspection, which is video recorded, confirmed that the treatment was successful and all bed bugs present at the time of treatment were eliminated. Had the K9 inspection indicated that the treatment was unsuccessful and any bed bugs survived, we would provide additional treatment services free of charge until the inspection confirms that no live bed bugs remain at the property. We cannot guarantee that bed bugs will never return to the property after a successful treatment because we have no control over the property, the actions of the property owner, guests, visitors, pets or other conditions, such as uncleanliness or the accumulation of waste, which could allow pests to re-enter the home. Unfortunately, if the conditions that resulted in the infestation were caused by the property owner, bed bugs can return due to the conditions resuming or persisting after an entirely successful treatment is completed. Even though the contract signed by Ms. M***** clearly states this, and also states that any future treatment in the event that bed bugs return in the future will be the same cost as the initial treatment, as a courtesy to Ms. M*****, we offered to perform another treatment at a heavily discounted price; however, Ms. M***** declined our offer. We at Bennett Termite & Pest Solutions take pride in our work and customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance.

  As I said I live alone. My home is professionally cleaned every two weeks. Laundry is done weekly. I only use three rooms and two baths in my home, The kitchen, bedroom and sunroom. The implication that the bedbugs may have returned due to lack of cleanliness is an insult. My dog is groomed monthly. Drawers that were under my platform bed were emptied and all clothing washed in hot water and dried for 140 minutes on high before being bagged prior to the heat treatment Bedbugs were found on top of the clothing once I put them back in the drawer. Since bedbugs can live in vents and electrical outlets, I'd like to know if the covers had been removed prior to treatment?
