On August 26th, 2022, eye contacted a plumber that I found listed on Facebook. Kevin's plumbing and drain cleaning. The advertisement States licensed and insured. When I spoke to the plumber, he stated that he guaranteed his work and would warranty. This was the first available plumber that I could get out to the property immediately. Work was completed and I wrote a check and was instructed to write to him personally and not to his business. He was to provide me with an invoice that included his license and warranty information. I have requested several times he was going to send to me by end of day. I have contacted him numerous times with one excuse after another as to why he could not provide. I'm now finding out he is not listed on sdat licensed. This is false advertising I would have never contracted him to do the job if I had known he was not licensed and insured. I am requesting a full refund. I am also notifying dllr and filing a complaint.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2022/10/04) */ So I apologize if you did not get your receipt there's no problem with me writing you a receipt and my master plumber was working for me for 5 years that's why I was able to pull permits and work under his license. Unfortunately he has passed Away A few months ago. Usually I would email someone I did work for the receipt so if you send me the email address I am more than happy to write you a receipt for whatever it is that we did Business Response /* (1000, 15, 2022/10/04) */ ***Document Attached*** I was in the automobile accident on the 29th which totaled my work vehicle And was also in the hospital due to the accident. In which was only 2 days after I did the job Consumer Response /* (3000, 17, 2022/10/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I hired a plumber that advertised as being licensed. Before the job I confirmed the work would be warrantied. I requested the invoice several times after the job and was ignored. I am requiring an invoice showing a valid license number and warranty for the job performed. If unable I am requesting a refund. Send directly to BBB to forward to me for record.
