On or about August 11, 2022, I contacted Tony ****** with Harris & Sons Contracting LLC to perform renovations on a home that I had just purchased in Aberdeen, MD. I wanted to have various home improvements performed before moving into the home. Mr. Harris advised me that he was working under the home improvement license of another person, Michelle ***** I verified that Ms. Knox's home improvement license was active. Mr. Harris and I had a number of discussions regarding the scope of work to be performed. He submitted a few different estimates before we agreed to a final scope of work, and I signed the contract. The scope of work included Mr. Harris removing a single sink vanity and installing a double sink vanity in the second-floor bathroom including doing the plumbing connection for the second sink. He advised me that it was a simple connection that he was able to perform. He did not construct the plumbing connection properly to the second sink causing a leak that leaked into the living room on the first floor. He cut a large hole in the dry wall to remove the wet dry wall. I called in a plumber to repair the sink. Mr. Harris attempted to repair the drywall but did a very poor job. I paid him in full as it appeared that the repair was completed. However, after it dried, it was clearly visible that the ceiling (drywall) was not installed properly or professionally. The drywall looks bumpy and uneven. I have contacted Mr. Harris a number of times to have him repair the ceiling but he has failed to respond.
