On August 14th, 2023, I took my ****** 11 into the Batteries Plus store to get my screen repaired. It cost me 180$ for this screen repair, about a month after the screen repair, I noticed a couple discolored lines going through my phone screen. I thought nothing of it until I placed my phone in a gym locker and after I picked it back up, the screen was completely non-functional and the screen had just vertical lines, going through of many different colors. With not being around the original store, I went to a second-store in Blacksburg, Virginia that let me know that the screen repair was not done correctly, as my issues weren’t because of pressure or a drop. I had a protective case and screen protector on the phone, but on September 27th, a little over a month after my screen repair, my phone was no longer able to be in use. The screen repair was under a 6 month warranty and after discussion via email with the business, I brought the phone into the original Batteries Plus store on October 7th and the employee, Andrew, informed me that the phone repair would not be under warranty and didn’t give me a reason why. I am hoping for a refund or replacement of the screen, since under the 6 month warranty and I couldn’t have prevented the issue.

Good morning.   The phone repair does have a 6-month warranty.  Obviously, the warranty doesn't cover a customer walking out the door and dropping the phone and breaking the screen.  If there is a malfunction with the screen, we are happy to look at it.  We can replace the screen and that may solve the problem.  I am not sure why the customer would have been told it is not under warranty.  The customer should contact my store manager to make arrangements to bring the phone into the store.  We can put another screen on the phone and see if that solves the problem.
