I ordered a book through ****** and didn’t realize the company it was coming from was SupperBookDeals. It says it was shipped with no tracking information and I need to contact the company for shipping. Of course it’s nearly impossible to contact them. I have sent an email and I’m super upset because I needed this book for a book signing in two days. I ordered it on January 7th it’s now January 16th. I could have had plenty of time to order it elsewhere if I had known this was going to happen. I usually trust ****** companies and never have any issues.Initial Complaint

Absolutely a scam. We ordered the Throne of Glass series on 12/11/2023 through this seller on ******. Our expected delivery date was 12/20 to 12/27. They marked the item as shipped on 12/13 but we weren’t given a tracking number. We contacted their chat team twice and requested a tracking number, they wouldn’t provide one and kept sending a generic response that items are shipped 2 business days after the order is made. We waited 8 business days without a tracking number and without any real communication from their customer service team before asking for our order to be cancelled and refunded. They refused to cancel our order, said our item has already been processed and shipped. On 12/20, the first day we should expect this order by, they sent a tracking number. The tracking number says nothing besides **** is awaiting for this item from the seller. Today’s now 12/27 12:00PM MST, the last day we should have received this order by and **** still has not received this item from the seller. My spouse bought through them on ****** bc he was unaware 3rd party sellers could be potential scammers. We have to wait until 12/31 to report them to ****** and get our $140.00 back. I also attempted to email them through their official website, received the same runaround response. AVOID THIS COMPANY.Initial Complaint

I ordered my textbook on 7/19/23. Mind you, this was the second order I had to place because the first order never shipped. The 7/19 order shipped on 7/28 with an ETA of 8/2. The book has not arrived. Ive receive no additional information from the vendor. A replacement was supposedly shipbut no *** or tracking information was provided. **************** is nonresponsive and untimely. For example, they only answer 1 email at a time per 24 hours. I have asked for a refund $186 twice. I am now behind on my class and had to re order from another vendor. The company provides vague and confusing delivery information. This company is doing business under different names from the same address and is knowingly shipped damaged merchandise. I ordered an expensive book (list price $75) thru ******* and received it via a third party seller dba The BookPros. It was damaged and I returned it to ***************************************************************************** I then ordered the same book thru Amazon and received it through a third party seller dba SuperBookDeals at ***************************************************************************** It was the EXACT SAME DAMAGED BOOK THAT I RETURNED to The BookPros on April 26. The first time I paid $53.70 on March 26th for a supposedly new copy. I got a refund, thanks to *******. The BookPros wanted me to accept $7.50 and when I said no, didn't answer me. The second time I paid $59.59 on April 29th for a supposedly new copy. Each time I received a damaged copy of the book (The New Big 5: A Global Photography Project for Endangered Species). I'm sure ****** will get me a refund at some point and I will be shipping the book back first thing in the *********** might think, maybe they both got damaged in transit because the sellers did not pack them carefully (e.g., just a thin envelope for this heavy book). No, that would account for the first time I got a damaged item but the second time they just re-shipped the book I returned. The damage was in the same spot and absolutely identical. They have caused me over 6 weeks of waiting, returning, aggravation, etc. Each time, they took my money and the burden has been on me to get a refund. The first time, they had my money over a month before ******* helped me be able to return the book. Now they have my money again and I will have to be vigilant to get it back. It was unethical of them to send a book that had been returned already due to damage and to sell it as if it was new. And now, I can't give this as a Mother's Day Gift because so much time was wasted. They have cause me enormous frustration and stress and I still have no book.Initial Complaint

I purchased a NEW book from the merchant, but they packaged the books very poorly, and out came damaged. While the book cost $157.92, I'm willing to accept a discount of 14.5%. Otherwise, I'd like the shipping paid in order for me to return it.Business Response

On March 9, 2022 I ordered a paperback book "The Rapture Ques" from **********. the third party vendor is Superbookdeals.com As of this writing it is March 27th and still no delivery. I've reached out to the vendor without satisfactory solution - still no delivery. I've reached out to ****** without a solution - still no ************ pay good money in good faith on a site advertising a product and the product does not arrive and there is no recourse from the vendor. They should rename their store - Super Book Rip-Offs.Business Response

On August 7th, I placed an order for a textbook that was $85.12. The order number is #SBDxXXXXXXXX-jA. I then tried to cancel it later that night. By the time SuperBookDeals had responded to me (Aug, 9), they said my order was already processed and could not be returned. I then waited a few weeks for my order to arrive. They never sent me a receipt, order confirmation, or shipping confirmation (until the day before it arrived), even though I asked multiple times. SuperBookDeals' policy on return is it must be sent back within 30 days of the day it was received. The return order was well received within this 30-day period - I paid for tracking on my package just to make sure it was received. I also took a picture of the package and all its contents to ensure it was the right address if they tried to claim they didn't receive it. They received it on September 13, but by September 30th, they still had not issued a refund. I emailed them and they responded a refund had been initiated and to expect it in my account in 3 to 5 days. By October 18th, I still had not received my refund, so I emailed them again. On October 21st, they had responded that they had never received my order and thus could not send me a refund. At this point, I knew they had been lying to me and had no plan of sending me a refund. I then sent them an email discussing this lie with screenshots, and they responded to me on October 27th that a refund had been initiated and did not address the fact they had lied to me. I order a book on August 13, 2022 and paid $102.89. I received the book and I then returned the book on August 31, 2022. It was received at their facility on September 6. I have contacted them numerous times and have been told that a refund has been issued more than half a dozen times. The latest "refund" promise was on November 2. I have since contacted them to ask the status of the refund and they start the whole process over again of please provide us with all your information so we can better serve you. The listed phone number for this retailer connects to a different "company's" switch board where the caller is told to leave a message for customer service. I did not receive a call back.
