    I entered into a contract with Dudley Home Services on 11/30/21 to paint a bathroom and install subway tiles on 2 counter sides of kitchen walls. Mr. Dudley was to buy all the materials. The amount of the contract was for $1,425. I put a deposit down of $850. The remainder of the money on the contract was to be paid once the job was completed. The bathroom painting was completed on 12/12. It was agreed between Mr. Dudley and me that he would not start the kitchen job until after the Christmas and New Year holiday. I texted Mr. Dudley on 12/16/21 to ask if he put my job on the schedule for January. He replied that he schedules "inside" jobs when we have bad weather. I asked him for specific dates which he could not give. He stated in a text that he would have the job done before January. I stated that I just wanted to know the dates, so I could prepare my kitchen for his arrival. Mr. Dudley did not respond. I texted again on 2/28/22 asking for dates that he would be able to complete my kitchen work. He stated that he was out of town, but that when he came back he would finish the job. I texted Mr. Dudley a month later on 3/29/22 asking again when he could complete my job. He stated that he could come the beginning of May. I asked him for specific dates. He replied that he's working on getting me dates. I texted him again on April 4th asking for a date. He never replied. I texted him on April 6th asking again for dates. I stated to Mr. Dudley that I felt he was taking advantage of me because I was a senior citizen. I told him that I wanted to void the contract. He texted me on April 7th stating that he could finish my job in two weeks. I asked for specific dates. He did not reply. On April 10th he texted and said that he would bring me a check for some of the money I had paid to him and void the contract. As of this writing, there has been no response from Mr. Dudley after numerous text from me. And no reimbursement.

I requested a copy stating that. Has not provided that. I know I requested 450 but am satisfied with the payment. Thank you. Brenda Evans
