    What could have been a complaint turned into a compliment. We've been a customer since 1989, a few years after opening their first shop, when we bought our hot tub. This past December our hot tub stopped heating water. Called Chesapeake Spas and within a reasonable amount of time a tech came to diagnose the problem. Heater replacement needed. Ordered heater at $1000 since it was still Winter. The heater was received at the store. The tech suggested there might be a cheaper fix. They installed two smaller parts, but by next day water was still cold. Months went by with phone calls and "passing the buck". I finally talked to the owner and asked to please have the heater installed. Sometime the end of April we finally have warm water again. To our surprise, we received a phone call telling us we were receiving a credit because of the wait for the final fix of the hot tub. What a pleasant surprise! That's 100% customer service making sure the customer is completely satisfied.
