Kitchen Design and Bath has not completed the job that they were paid to complete according to their contract. The only item they completed in the kitchen is installing the cabinets and countertops. The cabinet installation in the kitchen is sub par (cabinets and countertops are crooked). He has not purchased or installed the backsplash. He should have purchased and installed a floor (we are still walking on the cement floor). The flooring company sent him an email so that he is aware of the floor that I selected. He did not respond to her email. He has not installed the electrical or plumbing for the kitchen. The stove, a working sink with water, the dishwasher, the refrigerator (which is sitting in my living room) are still waiting to be installed. James is aware of these issues and promised to correct them. I'm still waiting. James is no longer answering my texts. He has been paid timely and I just want his company to complete the work. I have been in contact with 2 other companies who gave an estimate and are willing to complete the work that Design Kitchen and Bath has neglected to complete. However, I need money returned from James' company if he is not going to complete the job. I have pictures and text messages to prove that which is stated above.Business response

Hi we are in communication with the client right now. She changed all her selections multiple times from the original signed contract. We ordered two times different flooring and she changed again for a third time. The countertop is two times higher priced than the countertop on the contract and we installed it. We have yet receive to receive payment for that change. She changed her backsplash tile as well multiple times then what was on the original contract. She needs to pay for that change as well. She added cabinetry hood from custom line cabinet, she needs to pay for that too. Because of all these changes MADE BY THE CLIENT we couldn't continue until she signed off to the latest changes. Because of all the changes made previously, it has cost my company lots of money to return the materials. Yesterday, we were at her home talking and we told her these same things and she agreed to respond to us through email for her to sign off but we are still waiting for her to reply. We have contacted her again today to please sign off because we do not want to pay another 25% return fee again for her to keep changing her mind. NONE of the change orders are paid which is what we need to continue. It clearly states in the contract that any deviations from original signed contract is a change order and MUST be paid immediately. We are trying to work with this client but she is failing to do her part which we have asked multiple times for her to sign off on the latest changes and pay for the change orders. We can continue the job as soon as she does those things.
