Odonnell Honda has been terrible to deal with regarding the Honda recall. It took 5 months to get an appointment to get the work done. The service writer said it would only take a few hours and I could wait for it but once i got there they said it would take all day. They then complained that I did not even by the vehicle from them or had any of my regular maintenace from them and said they should never have agreed to do the warranty work. Then on top of that, they broke a panel on the vehicle and the part would not be in until the next day, I asked if it would affect the drivability of the vehicle, he said no but that they wanted to keep the car overnight but would not give me a loaner. I said i needed my car that night and i would bring it back the next day, They agreed to it but said it would take several hours to replace the panel that they broke thus leaving me without the car for most of the day again. The new service writer was fine, he was just following orders of what his manager was spewing in the background. When i bought this vehicle 4 years ago i had a terrible time with a different honda dealership (sales manager would not honor pricing the salesperson gave me via an email quote) I should have quit while i was ahead and gotten me a different brand.

My account was suspended due to a billing issue resolved through my credit card company for an unauthorized and unnecessary service based on the resolution options made available to me by O'Donnel Honda. I was advised to contact the manager, who does not respond to my phone calls and emails. I am very disappointed with how the management has handled and continues to handle the issue. I will be filing a compliant with Maryland licensing department.

I bought a used 2022 civic And the salesman had no personality. And didn’t inform me of anything that was going on in the process. He walked out drove the car away and came back without saying a word to me. I later found out it was going to get cleaned before I took it. While I was in there another used car salesman mark ******* was on his computer looking at naked and half naked girls on his computer right in front of the sales manager office with my wife and kid in the room. Not impressed with the used car side of this dealership. (** **** **** *** ********)

Last month I made an appointment with a service advisor to get an oil change plus tire rotation, balance & wheel alignment. The service advisor was willing to only charge me for the oil change & wheel alignment with no added charge for the tire rotation & balancing. I had explained to him that I was uncomfortable continuing to have my tires serviced at *** after *** was purchased by Mavis. His offer sounded good to me. I've had my Honda serviced here for years. Surprise, surprise ... The mechanic informs the service advisor that I need front brake rotor resurfacing work, new tires (almost $1,000) & a new serpentine belt (several hundred dollars). I had a new serpentine belt put on my Honda at this very dealership in late summer of 2022 & the tires have plenty of tread remaining. The mechanic's recommendations were based on the age of my vehicle & the year my tires were manufactured (2018). I decided to move forward with the oil change & brake repair only. I later learned from two other Honda dealerships in the area that their costs for the brake work would have been about $300 to $325 verus the $450 charge I paid. The service advisor at first told me the brake service charge would be over $500 & he was willing to cut out 1/2 hour of labor. I was flabbergasted at the other two recommendations. Just as an audit check, I phoned the dealership a few days later & spoke with a different service advisor who quoted me the brake service cost of $450 not over $500 like my service advisor had done. I now have serious doubts about the credibility for their service center's recommendations. If I had agreed & paid for all of their recommendations I'd have had an extra large credit card bill, including a service for a serpentine belt that was unnecessary. I later had an email exchange with the General Manager & Service Manager. Neither one of them offered an apology or a goodwill gesture (a reasonable credit) for me to apply to my next service.

The customer brought the vehicle in for brake noise and Odonnell Honda diagnosed it as brake pads and rotors. Customer authorized the work and picked up vehilce. A couple days later the customer called and said he found the price cheaper but would not tell the service advisor where. The customer keeps calling and writing to all social media. Customer is no longer able to come back to Odonnell Honda.

The customer brought the vehicle in for brake noise and Odonnell Honda diagnosed it as brake pads and rotors. Customer authorized the work and picked up vehilce. I DID NOT HAVE BRAKE NOISE WHEN I BROUGHT IN MY VEHICLE, AND I DID NOT ASK MY SERVICE ADVISOR TO CHECK MY BRAKES. HAVING A RECOMMENDATION FOR BRAKE SERVICE FROM THE SERVICE ADVISOR CAME AS A SURPRISE TO ME. ALSO, I WAITED IN THEIR WAITING ROOM FOR MY CAR SERVICE TO BE COMPLETED FROM 7 AM TO 9:30 AM. I DID NOT DROP OFF MY CAR AND PICK IT UP LATER THAT DAY. A couple days later the customer called and said he found the price cheaper but would not tell the service advisor where. I ASKED MY SERICE ADVISOR IF O'DONNELL HONDA WOULD MATCH TWO LOWER PRICES FROM TWO HONDA DEALERSHIPS I WAS QUOTED FOR THE SAME BRAKE SERVICE I GOT . I WAS TOLD BY MY SERVICE ADVISOR "NO, O"DONNELL HONDA DOES NOT MATCH COMPETITOR'S SERVICE PRICING". WHEN ASKED BY THE SERVICE ADVISOR ABOUT WHO WERE THE OTHER TWO DEALERSHIPS, I SAW NO POINT IN PROVIDING THAT INFORMATION TO HIM, UNLESS O'DONNELL WANTED TO CONFIRM WHAT I WAS SAYING WAS CORRECT AND WOULD HAVE MATCHED THE LOWER PRICING. THERE WAS NO BENEFIT TO ME IN PROVIDING LOWER PRICING OFFERED BY THEIR HONDA DEALERSHIP COMPETITION TO MY SERVICE ADVISOR. I STAND 100% BY EVERY WORD I INCLUDED IN MY COMMENT ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AT O'DONNELL CAR SERVICE. ANYTHING ELSE IS A FABRICATION OR EXAGERRATION OF SORTS.

I have been regularly giving my Honda crv(2019) at O’Donnell Honda Ellicott City , Maryland service center. Because of technician’s blunder rear differential has got broken while driving to Connecticut from Maryland. Had tow my car to another service center ***** ** ********* and he confirmed the problem was due to improper service done at O’Donnell Honda Ellicott City on 04/20/2022 with 18,324 miles service. We were four people traveling in car and lives were at stake because of the blunder done at O’Donnell Ellicott City MD service center I would like to take legal action on O'Donnel Honda Ellicott City to repay the service costs and the trauma caused out of this. I never gave my Honda CRV outside any service, all the time I gave service to my Honda crv to O’dpnnel Honda Ellicott city. What is the point of giving vehicles to Honda authorized service centers? Spent 3K on a 3-year-old car is not at all fair. I would never recommend O’Donnell Honda Ellicott City, Maryland for any service or new vehicle purchases. Here is an explanation from ***** ** ********* technician. Diagnosis for failed Differential Per Technician Customer Sreeramani Had his car serviced at O'Donnell honda on 04/20/2022.RO#****** with 18,324 miles for services including a rear differential service. Upon arrival at ***** ** *********, The car was towed in with a clunking rear differential and our technician noticed a hole in the differential due to the drain plug being loose. Meaning the fluid had been slowly leaking out causing the differential to grende from the inside. We would recommend the customer to go to the O'Donnel Honda and see if they can help him. With Reimbursement for his out-of-pocket coverage of the part and labor

    Very Dishonest Car Dealer

They promised a $14,000 trade in on my car and didn't want to see it. We sent the odometer reading but when we were purchasing the new car they told us they would give us $8000. They said they made a mistake which cost us $6000.
Don't do business with them. Ken ***** the sales manager won't even call me back. They are crooks
