I ordered numerous items on a bid site called property room. The jewelry that I bid on was presented in a way that was not actually what the item look like when I received it. Everything look like it was tib and cheap and from the dollar store. It's horrendous the misrepresentation and very poorquality items that they're sending to people. I responded back to them that I wasn't happy in the purchases and it wasn't as advertised. they were from third-party sites that sell cheap products on their site under the guise they're being sent to you from a bid on an auction. why would I bid on something that's from the store? I grossly was led to bid overpay for crap that's not even remotely a deal! that's the whole point of doing a property room bid assumed you're getting a better quality item for less money because it was forfeited in criminal investigations. That's the whole point of the whole concept of the website. It's misleading, misrepresented, fraudulent, unethical and I'm out almost $200 for a handful of ******* trinkage jewelry. upon talking with customer service they addressed one of the issues. I texted back almost a month later inquiring about the email they should have been following up on, about the other items I sent the invoices regarding that they themselves requested and the response you will see in the attached email, was, "we answered your questions regarding blank invoice". Don't follow up no further information no resolution no talk of a resolution no inkling of any other information just they already addressed one of the issues. That's it?! didn't even follow up with any other information regarding the status of the other four items. Very poor customer service no follow-through no accountability it seems to be a pattern considering the reviews I'm looking at on here and the complaints. It's misleading it's fraudulent and it's manipulating and it's swindling people out of their money by falsely advertising products that aren't even remotely close to the way that they're being showcased. As evidenced in the complainant's "***********************************" the buyer was asked to provide the following which the buyer failed to do. On January 23, 2023:
1.) order number or listing number
2.) DETAILED description of issue FOR EACH ITEM YOU LIST
The buyer instead waited until March 12, 2023 to respond with the following general statement:
"I sent you look copy of all the invoices as you requested and I said to you in the initial email what was wrong with that they were cheap and they were not as advertised that's a answer for all of it that's the description of what's wrong with the property since we've already resolved the one item that doesn't have anything to do with jewelry it's presumed that it's pertaining to the rest of them. They're cheap and I don't want them"

The buyer's general blanket statements and failure to provide adequate detail pertaining to the issues with each item purchased is not enough to warrant a return. Furthermore, the buyer is now outside of the 10-day time frame for which returns can be authorized. I won an auction and they automatically overcharged me without my permission. I told them to wait 48 hours until my sellers permit has been verified before payment but they didn't want to do that. I told them to cancel the order before it was shipped, but they would not do so. I want to return the item for a full refund. Payment is processed automatically at the close of auction using the buyer's payment method chosen at the time of bidding. This is in accordance with PropertyRoom.com's Bidding and Buying policy which was agreed to upon registration. (Bidding and Buying policy: ************************************
This buyer then contacted us post auction asking to hold from payment processing until their reseller information could be verified. We are unable to accomodate such requests. If a buyer is a reseller, then tax exempt documents would need to have been submitted prior to auction participation. Reseller enrollment rules: *****************************************- Furthermore, this buyer provided reseller information that failed verification.
The buyer then filed two payment disputes (claiming non-receipt) for both of his purchases. As such, in accordance with the Bidding and Buying policy, the buyer's account was closed with no further access. Payment resolution will be handled through the dispute process. Per the terms of the payment dispute, the buyer was instructed to return the merchandise at their own expense.PropertyRoom.com does not furnish return labels in instances of payment disputes. I placed bid on a item then won that item pair earings they were supposed to ship to me insted they went and sold my item to someone else i told them to give me a refund over and over again and nothings being done i fill like i got scammed.Business Response

Closed my account erroneously. Claimed that my card was not issued in America (Germany to be specific). My card was issued in America, I was given no warning or time to prove that my card was American based. Poor service. No response was given to me whatsoever. After further research many are led to believe that a third party privately bids to drive up the price of the item. Many unsatisfactory reviews.Business Response

I bid on a watch they advertised and described as a galaxy watch 4. I won that bid and when I received it in the mail it was not that watch. It was a galaxy active watch. If I knew this was not the galaxy 4 watch I would have never bid on it. I notified propertyroom.com the next day of their error on 8/26/2022. I won the bid for $103.00. This did not include shipping or taxes. The total was $124.91. I sent them screenshots of what I bid on and sent then pictures of the watch proving that I did not get what I ordered. The picture shows that the watch is the same one they had online and the one I got but when you turn it on it shows that it is the active watch. I now can no longer see the item on my profile online. I was told they would keep me up to date on my claim but that was the last update. There is also a 15% restock fee that I should not have to pay when they are the ones who falsely advertised this productBusiness Response

I am satisfied that was given the refund and understand it could take up to 7 business days for the refund to credit back into my account.
