      A Costly and Frustrating Experience at The Lube Center in Frederick, MD I recently had my vehicle serviced at The Lube Center in Frederick, MD, at approximately 82,000 miles. The service included a full fluid change and a rear differential fluid change. Initially, the process seemed routine, and I trusted the technicians to ensure my vehicle was in good condition. However, less than four months later, at only 85,000 miles, I was left with a catastrophic failure of the rear differential, resulting in a staggering $5,600 repair bill. What makes this situation worse is the complete lack of communication and accountability from The Lube Center. At no point during the service was I informed of any potential issues or warned that this part might be at risk of failure. With proper communication, I could have taken proactive steps to address the issue before it escalated into a costly disaster. To add insult to injury, when I requested to see the video of the service performed on my vehicle, they flat-out refused unless I brought in a lawyer or pursued further legal action. This level of defensiveness and lack of transparency raises serious concerns about their professionalism and integrity. As a customer, I expect honesty and a willingness to provide information, especially when something goes wrong. Instead, I was met with evasiveness and resistance. I strongly discourage anyone from trusting The Lube Center with their vehicle. Their failure to identify or communicate potential problems and their unwillingness to stand behind their work have left me with not only financial strain but also a deep mistrust in their services. Proceed with extreme caution—or better yet, avoid them altogether.
