    This company has made unauthorized purchases on my bank card a few times and refuses to refund the money. The store manager Eric has insisted these purchases are legitimate while his subordinates John and Sally have recognized this error before and agreed that the charges were not a result of my consent. The unauthorized purchases values were -$179 -$51.50 -$53.31 The first time this Incident happened they offered me store credit but refused to refund my actual money. I been a customer here for 10 years and this repeated behavior is absolutely unacceptable and has costed Posner Industries my business. The manager Eric has said the potential issue could be a disconnect between their card processing system and their sales system. Regardless, they have a repeated track record of the unauthorized use of my card, that if not caught could've resulted in mounting costly misappropriations of my money and potentially yours. It is very evident that this store is not a safe place to use a card at, if you do buy from here, cash only is your best bet

    Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/10/12) */ Posner Industries believes that it has acted in good faith to rectify this single customer complaint. In this most recent instance of this single customer's complaint, only a cellphone screen of bank activity was presented to local managers trying to verify the complaint. Upon investigating the claim of false credit card charges, the customer's purchase history was reviewed by central office and it was verified that goods were received. In this most recent complaint, due to a billing delay and human error, customer enjoyed the use of materials for 2 weeks before being charged. Posner recognized this inconvenience and conducted a conversation with the customer. Customer acknowledged receiving goods. Nevertheless, a specific customer accommodation was made, recognizing the long relationship this customer had with Posner. Customer accommodation was made with an offer to help review customer's bank statement if other claims of improper billing were indeed found. After 3 weeks, customer has not brought evidence to Posner. Posner agrees that THIS customer will have the best future experience with Cash Only. Posner processes in excess of 100 credit card transactions daily with no similar complaints. Posner values the relationship it has with all customers and deems this complaint to be unfortunate and unwarranted. Erik ****** Controller, Posner Industries
