In the summer of 2021 I found out my life insurance policy lapsed do to an address change. I didn't realize nor did anyone contact me regarding payment for my policy. After realizing I haven't paid it I called Banner Life insurance. They were kind enough at the time to reinstate my policy with payment. On July 02,2021 I received a letter confirming payment and my policy was active. Letter is attached. Later that year I received a statement for my wife's policy which we paid. I questioned why I didn't receive a statement so I called in the fall of 2021. When I called I was surprised to find out that my policy was again inactive. They went on to explain to me that payment was not made which it was as it cleared my account and I received a letter confirming it. They now want me to apply for reinstatement and go through a full process including me paying for a physical which I did. On January 28, 2022 I received the letter attached explaining now that if 48 almost 49 I would have to pay a higher premium. I had to reach out to them to find this out as again they sent the letter to the wrong address which I have never lived at. Now I have to pay over $2,210 more per year for their mistake.
