They 'fixed' but seat cover shattered and when I went to have them correct and Mr ***** accused me of not paying (paid $1700 via Carshield) and said he wouldn't fix He has bullied both my husband and myself (we are in our 70's). I need the seat corrected.

4/29/2024 transaction - purchased a jeep wrangler 4xe 2024 for over $62k traded in a fully paid off ***** pilot for this jeep. did not receive any upfront electric vehicle incentives as were available starting in 2024 per *** rules - the dealer provided me a paper from 2024 for the 30d EV incentive - noting the $3750 eligibility to "provide at tax time". I filed on 2/31/25 on turbotax live online. and was rejected twice as the vin/model and irs mismatch for this incentive. I verified with manager ***** when I called that they had nothing to do with filing with the *** as required within 3 days for this 2024 program as listed on the irs link below. I explicitly bought the vehicle knowing I was eligible and would receive this credit. Now I am unable to attain it had to file my taxes without it and am seeking a settlement around this. The manager was incredibly ignorant, rude, and uneducated on the matter and refused to be involved and essentially told me tough luck. I will not let this stand as I bought on this presumption of credit/value for over 5% the cost of the vehicle. ****************************************************************************** Step 3: Get a time-of-sale report When you take possession of the vehicle, the seller must give you a time-of-sale report and a copy of the confirmation the *** provides when it accepts the time-of-sale report submitted through *** ECO. This gives you:Confirmation that the dealer reported the sale to the *** within the required 3-day period. If you have a paper copy of your time-of-sale report, skip to Step 5.If you didn't receive a time-of-sale report, proceed to Step 4.Step 4: If you didn't get a time-of-sale report: Contact your seller If you didn't get a time-of-sale report at the time of purchase or you lost it, contact the seller to get a copy of the report. If you do not have a successfully submitted time-of-sale report, you are not eligible to claim the credit.

****** to reach dealer after warranty work was performed. My vehicle was returned with questionable repairs and damage that was not present when I dropped the vehicle off. I don't trust this vehicle is safe to drive and I have been trying to reach the dealership with no luck.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 12/11/2024

Hello, I was finally able to get a hold of the dealership who advised me that they have responded to this inquiry from the Better Business Bureau, and I was told you don't care because the issue wasn't reported until several months following the pick up of my vehicle. Can you please confirm the same?

The issues weren't immediately reported because I wasn't looking for damage as I was under the impression that my vehicle was in the care of professionals.

I've included additional pictures that show the bolts on my front seats have been disturbed, as well as the damage caused to the paint. I've also included photos of greasy fingerprints which only compounds my belief that no care or attention was taken to protect my asset while it was in the care of **** Chrysler.

I visited Tate pre owner cars dealership in Frederick on 23rd Sept 2023 to see an used Jeep cherokee which I saw online. I met George ***** there and he showed me one Jeep Cherokee 2019 limited edition. I liked that car and we finalized the price on saturday evening over phone. Monday (25th Sept) afternoon I visited again, to take the buyer seller agreement to secure an auto loan, during this visit, George told me all the benefits I am going to get as I am buying Pre-owned certified Jeep, One of these benefits was Tate Total care which includes some benefits related to service at dealership. On Wednesday 27th Sept, I visited the dealership again with cashier cheque and loan amount to purchase the Jeep, on this day, George was not present (it was his off), and Jim (finance manager) completed all the formalities. I didn't provide me document related to Tate total care . When I asked him about this document he said he is unaware abt it and I can check with George about it once he is back. On 2nd Oct, I visited the dealership again to ask for Tate totalcare document and he said that this benefit cannot be provided now. I met the manager on location, NAZIM, to ask more details on it, He was extremely rude, sarcastic and was kind of making fun while talking to me and he mentioned that as they didn't commit this in writing and as I have already purchased the vehicle , that benefit cannot be provided now. he was not willing to listed to anything and as per him, as car is sold now and they didn't gave the benefit list to me in writing, they don't care about it now.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership for $30,000. After waiting over 5 months for the license plate, I was finally able to go get the car inspected. Once I was able to get the vehicle inspected, I was informed by the inspection center that the vehicle is not compliant with federal emissions standards because the vehicle has aftermarket (illegal) catalytic converters on it. The dealer has denied to rectify this issue.

Date: 08/28/2023. Was looking to see what cars they dad and to test drive some. We noticed they didn't have The one we wanted and that it was in another lot. The salesman let us know that they can bring the car over to this one for us to test drive and that we wouldn't be responsible for buying it but we had to just sign a form for records. At the bottom there was a signature page and when requested the terms we were signing to, the salesman said that it was to just verify all the information was true. They never asked for permission to run my credit but I noticed the next day they had run it with multiple lenders. Then they proceeded to call me and said that they wouldn’t bring the car over unless I sign on the car to buy it, not what the previous salesman had said. The main issue here is them running your credit without asking for permission and not providing their terms of agreement.

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership in August 2022. The dealership processed the registration and titling of the vehicle as part of my purchase process (dealer is in MD, car was titled in MD, I live and wanted car titled in Virginia). I still have not received the VA plates nor the title to the car. I have contacted the dealer several times to find out why I haven't received these and no one can answer what the problem is. Not sure what to do at this point.

Please see below copy of the BBB complaint filed against MOPAR.Please confirm in writing that I will not incur costs for repairing Jeep with Vin# *****************, that repair cost and cost of the rental vehicle you provided is indeed going to be covered by warranty, as you have indicated during in-person conversation with my spouse (and as stated in a hand-written note you provided to him). See "Desired Resolution". RE: Jeep Compass 4x4 Vin# *****************; Warranty Expiration Date: 2024-01-16 (36 Months or ****** Miles). My vehicle failed to start on October 29, 2022. I have requested towing service to Jeep dealer via MOPAR the same day. My vehicle was towed on October 29, 2022 to Tate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Frederick at *************************************************************************. Ever since October 29, 2022 my vehicle was at the dealer's shop. I was advised that there is a need for battery and some other part replacement, both falling under MOPAR Warranty (with no cost to me to repair). I was also provided a rental car at no cost to me (dealer said it's covered by warranty). I have recently contacted dealer and inquired when my vehicle would be ready for pick up. In response, technician at the Jeep dealership stated that they can't repair the vehicle until they receive the part they ordered and that it is currently not available at any part's warehouse. They assured me that I will incur no charges for rental car and the repair will be free, since my vehicle is under warranty. But they couldn't tell me if it will take a month,a year or indefinite time to get a part to repair my vehicle. I request MOPAR to provide the necessary part to dealer so they can repair my vehicle, or to replace my vehicle if it stays at the dealership for more than 30 days since it was towed there on October 29, 2022. If my request can not be accommodated, I demand that this case be handled via arbitration.

On August 26th, 2022, I brought my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee into **** Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge in Frederick MD for a routine coolant flush. I was having no issues at the time with my vehicle. $200 later and my first drive to work (about 45 min/ 30 miles) the radiator blew, overheating my jeep. I called the dealership and they immediately denied responsibility. They claimed it was not their fault, but they would fix it at my expense. Being that I only have that vehicle, I didn't have much of a choice. They quoted me to replace the radiator and the transmission cooler/AC condenser because of the age of my vehicle and "rust" so they wouldn't have been able to save the transmission cooler/AC condenser. I agreed to buy these parts and pay for the labor to install them. $600 later and I have my jeep back. Within 1 week the jeep started having issues with drivability. The check engine light came on for a misfire and that in turn caused the transmission to throw a code as well. After scanning the Jeep, it called out the EVAP purge solenoid and Crankshaft position sensor. I decided to check the CPS as its easily accessible to see if there was something obvious. Upon removing the skid plate, a handful of bolts and hardware fell out from underneath the Jeep. Upon further inspection, my radiator and transmission cooler/AC condenser were missing bolts hand hardware to properly secure it!!! I couldn't believe this was the work of a dealership. In addition to that, I attempted to use my AC for the first time after that service the AC compressor locked up. Because they replaced my AC condenser/trans cooler, they did not properly service my AC system, so it was low on Freon and oil for the compressor. This is what caused the compressor to seize. I called the dealership again to not only express my concern and displeasure with the work, but I could not believe how defensive they had become. Not once were they apologetic that any of this had happened. I decided I could not trust this dea

Took my vehicle into Tate ********* service department (Jake as my service advisor) for a check engine light (P0303) code and a rough start when starting vehicle. The service department diagnosed the vehicle and stated that the coil pack for cylinder 3 was bad and needed to be replaced and also suggested to replace the spark plugs as well. I paid for the repair to the coil pack, spark plug wires, and fuel system cleanup which costed approx. $1550. About 7 days later the engine light came back on and the vehicle started to have the rough start again (same exact problems the first time). I called Tate back and they agreed to look at it again for free. When they diagnosed the second time for the same issues, they said that I had a crack in the cylinder head, and it would cost around $3300 and that I would have to pay for it. I did not agree with having to pay because they did not fully diagnose the vehicle the first time. If the vehicle was fully diagnosed the first time, they would have found the main issue. I should not have to pay twice for the same issues because they misdiagnosed the vehicle. I should be able to at least put the money that I paid the first time toward the main cause of the issue, but the service advisor Jake stated that they could not do that, and I have to pay the $3300 to get it fixed. So, I asked them to put the vehicle back together and I took it home. I think I should be refunded for the $1550 for first time which was not the issue so I can pay for the actual issue.
