If I could give zero stars I would. Went to the salon on 02/12/2024 to receive a hair cut, my starting length was 28 1/2 inches long and I asked for 4 inches off. Once the haircut was complete the stylist had taken off 10 1/2 inches. The stylist offered to pay me back personally as to not notify the managers/owners about a refund because "they're scary." I advised I paid on my credit card and would like the funds put back on said card, was told by the stylist the owner considers this a personal arrangement and will not be issuing a refund. I contacted the owner today to calmly discuss the situation and come to a respectful resolution. What I received was the opposite. The owner Mary Louise Riser spoke to me with such disrespect and pure disdain I thought it was a joke at first. She was talking over me the whole time, stated "I don't see why I even need to be on the phone with you right now" and "you obviously aren't going to let this go" and after much fighting I was told I'd receive a refund, the level of abuse that she used to speak to me makes me doubt very much I will ever see those funds. Whatever you do- do not go to this salon- you will receive the worst treatment, zero understanding or empathy if a mistake is made, zero accountability from the owner for any issues happening during the time of services rendered. People like this owner who claim to want to support women and make them feel as beautiful as possible but in the same breath tear them down whenever there's a major issue that has happened are genuinely terrifying. I have never been spoken to like that by any business owner, she was dehumanizing and genuinely couldn't care less that a year and a half worth of growth on my hair was completely taken away from me. If you value your self respect and appearance do not go to this salon. You will leave sobbing and crying and receive nothing but abuse if there is a problem. Never visit this place.
