      When this company bought out **** ******* several years ago it went straight down hill. I had many problems with customer service telling me I don't have vent contract with them which I have my paid bills and contract papers and they have poor communication. After many phones and hours trying to resolve a vent situation a technician was sent out a week later to correct my problem. He came today and said everything look goods???? My complaint and order was to put in a total new vent package as the entire vent was bent out of shape and the casing would continually fall. He didn't even notice that? what kind of inspection is that?? I order a total new package vent not an inspection. The manager I spoke to at the home office didn't pay attention to my need and just wrote needs inspection??? Now I made another complaint and wait for feedback to see if they will come and replace the entire unit. I pay $46.00 a year for vent insurance what good is it if they can't even understand the problem. PLEASE DO NOT GET THIS COMPANY. No one takes responsibility. I speak English but no one understands it. Waiting to hear if I get the new vent ..when ever they call back?? Having insurance with them is a hassle

      Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our vent maintenance service visit. Our technician confirmed that, while your vents are all working as needed, one was popping out and needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, our technicians do not have replacement vents on their vehicles and often need to confirm the location and size to order the correct replacement. We have placed an order and will contact you when it arrives, so we can schedule time to replace it.

      I was charged over $200 for someone supposedly walking around my house, checking mouse bates. I do not have video of this person on my property, nor do I have ANY evidence that they ever came to my property. Now I'm having to dispute this charge in collections. If you plan to have this company help you, make sure that they ONLY come when you are there; if they are not willing to plan their visits around your schedule, then I would not recommend hiring them, or else they can make up whatever they want to bill you for, like they did me.

      I would like to praise AmericanPest, as well as the ********* **********' property manager. ********* is in Alexandria, Virginia. DeAndre D***, American Pest employee, collaborated with the ********* ********** propery manager. D*** proved to be a "miracle worker." In the winter and spring, there was a rat infestation behind Building 3 of ********* **********. One night I saw 9 rats in just 5 seconds behind Building 3 on/near the loading dock, near the back walls of the building. D***, supervised by the ********* property manager, tackled the problem of the Building 3 rat infestation and ended it. D***, presumably with the aid of the grounds crew, identified and sealed off the rats' nesting sites and hiding places. The rats and mice had dug holes behind Building 3 and constructed a network of tunnels. D*** deprived the rodents of their nesting sites and places of refuge. Doubtless on Mr. D*** advice, the property manager worked to clean up the debris piles and clutter on/around Building 3's loading dock and sought to remove the remains of foodstuffs left as trash. On D***'s advice, ********* more aggressively hoses down the loading dock and surrounding areas. D*** uses rat poisons -- specifically, rodenticide -- and bait boxes to eliminate the existing rat infestation and deter rats and mice from returning to their former nexts. D*** used rodenticide to minimize dangers to people, dogs and other pets. Due to D***'s strategy, I have not seen any rats or mice behind Building 3 in weeks. That is why I call Mr. D*** a "miracle worker. " D*** and the ********* property manager have ended the crisis of the rat infestation, killed the rats and mice, repelled new rodents from nesting near the building and from taking up residence in the building. That is a disaster averted, due to the work of D*** and the ********* property manager.

      I have been billed monthly since May 2022 for a Yearly Renewal Barrier that I paid on 6/09/2022 and have a receipt that it is paid. I have called many, many, many times and explained this to the person answering their phones. I'm always assured that the information will be sent to Billing and it should be cleared by next month. When that never happened I began calling to speak with a supervisor who has always been on the phone or in a meeting. I was told numerous times that someone will return my call and of course that never happened either. This is frustrating, makes me angry and no reason for it other than TERRIBLE customer service. I was with the prior company for almost 20 years before it was sold to these guys and NEVER would the prior owner treat her clients this way. She built her company on hard work, honesty, integrity and trust. She also make each client feel as if they were the only one. This company has shown me that they only care about their profit margin and it seems that they are not aware that their greatest asset is the customer. I would not recommend AmericanPest to anyone.. give your money to someone who appreciates your business. I assume that I must seek legal action for $149.50 which is totally ridiculous but no one wants to be harassed monthly for a bill that you do not owe.

First and foremost, I do want to confirm that you do not have an outstanding balance and your termite renewal is good until April 2023. We were concerned there may have been some confusion between your termite renewal and your general pest control service, however, our manager Jolynn that spoke with you yesterday said the two of you were able to clear it all up. We will say the lack of response you got from management was unacceptable and is something we are taking action on. The representatives you spoke with did contact management and management did update your account, however, they didn't communicate those updates to you and for that, we apologize. This is a specific scenario that is unique, however, will lead to discussions and resolutions amongst management to ensure neither you or another customer have to experience anything similar. We look forward to seeing you at your next service and making things right so you can experience the American Pest we are proud of.
