      I moved here March 2021 and have been having problems from the start. I am constantly being overcharged for rent , nothing and I mean NOTHING in my house gets fixed. You cannot contact anyone in the rental office like the communication is just poor. It was time for me to renew my lease I sent all of my documents over and never got a response , I sent the documents over for a second time to renew my lease and was sent back links that didn’t work or were expired. After reaching out to Dj the property manager and getting no response I was put on a month to month lease paying 1905 for a one bedroom on top of the other charges that have not been fixed. This place has got to be a **** and I’m truly one step away from contacting legal help!

      I moved in November of 2022 and I am still dealing with maintenance that has needed to be done since I moved it. I decided to renew my lease this past November 2023 where I found out that I was being charged as if I was in a three bedroom instead of a two bedroom and that my children were listed as roommates. When I moved in I had to hire a master election and carpenter to install my electrical socket to be able to use the washer and dryer electrical stackable I purchased and had delivered to find out although they advertise washer and dryer there is only a water hookup. I asked about the price prior to signing the lease based off what I saw offline that brought me in but in desperation of needed a home for me and my children I gave the money and moved in to later find out I was right all along. They offered to renovate my home which I take very extra good care of so repainting my hand rail and reglazing my bathroom does not compensate me for the overcharge of the full year 2022-2023. The property manager has had our rental office closed to the community for months with the excuse of being understaffed. They do not pick up the phone or the mailbox is full. I have emailed and been ignored the past 3 days by the property manager after she left me and 8 other tenants outside of the rental office while her and a leasing agent was inside just refusing to help any of us. The police advised me this was the best next step to take as I have been extremely patient and kind to this company not to mention understanding but now I am tired of being taken advantage of and am in need of help.

      So about 2 months after we moved in I started noticing charges on my account. There was no written notification via mail or email regarding these charges. The charges were not discussed or signed for in our lease. To add im having trouble getting a hold of an actual human to disscus the charges...not only that but our lease was signed for 1100 and we have been giving them 1110 per month. The lease and the amount we are paying and what the office has said to us do not add up...Not only that but shortly after we moved in, i was researching the property and found a huge case against Riverview for illegally charging its tennants fees...

      This recent BBB complaint was emailed to me.  I was previously the property manager at this property, however, am no longer the property manager at this property as of Sept 2019.  The property was sold and is under new management and ownership.  This complaint should be sent to them for a response. I do not have updated contact information for the property since we are no longer associated in anyway.
