            I rented a trumpet for my son in August. He was trying to learn for his boy scout troop. They charged me twice every month for 6 months! I returned it to the store I rented it from in December , but they told me I couldn't return it there. I had to take it to their main location. I noticed that I had been double charged so I called them. I have called three times and have had 0 response. When I did call they state that I rented two trumpets? Ha! I have the paperwork I only rented one. I have one son an only child, why would I rent two trumpets? I have been calling for months, No one has ever called me back! I called today and no apology and acted like I was bring a jerk because I was frustrated at their lack of help. They also charged me again in Jan for the trumpet I returned in December. So I am being charged for an imaginary trumpet and they told me when they reviewed the information to see if I should be credited the $190.80 they owe me, not to mention all the time I have spent on this, only to give me attitude when I tried to stand up and let them know this is not acceptable, and I won't be ignored when I have a valid complaint. .

            This company, which used to be ******** ********* and very reputable, DOESN'T REMOVE YOU FROM THEIR EMAILS! I have tried dozens of times and even emailed their sales department to remove me. I still am getting these emails at least twice a week and can't get off their list!!

            We’ve had a terrible experience with Music and Arts. We rented a trombone for 14 months, paying over $500 in rental fees and insurance. When our son lost the instrument (or possibly was stolen) from school, they told us the insurance doesn’t cover loss of the instrument, although it says otherwise on the website. The whole customer service experience has been confusing, hearing different things from the store and corporate customer service.

            So easy to start a rental, but they make it VERY hard to cancel your rental contract. My student was instructed by his band director to leave his instrument at the schools offsite band facility over winter break & have me call to cancel. He was only in band exploratory for 1 semester, so he won't be in band anymore when he returns to school. After 3 calls & a combined wait time of about an hour, I was told I'd have to call back once school resumes to request a cancelation of rental agreement. They supposedly "could not cancel, put notes in to cancel or anything to help me at this time." Which according to the customer service representatives I spoke with means that we will be charged for January (paymeny will be processed 2 days before school resumes) & there's nothing I can do about that extra month we'll be paying for but not using or in possession of the instrument. She also told me that my student should never have left his instrument at the band facility, although this is what all the students who won't be in band next semester were instructed to do by the band director. I got off the phone feeling throughly scammed & beyond frustrated at their "cancelation process". Would not recommend using this company.

            I rented to own an alto saxophone for my son in August of 2021. We paid it off, but Music & Arts continues to take money from my bank account. I have sent in letters and proof that it's paid, but they dont stop. They also sent items to "collections", when it never should have been sent to collections. When they auto draft, they use different names each time. (Music&Arts.com, Music&ArtsMD, Music & Arts. Fredrick, MD etc.) That ways it's harder to trace in statements. They were supposed to take $69.55 per month, which was still more than the contract said, but I allowed it. All of a sudden, they started charging me $74.90 and then $100 and then $234.00! This was AFTER this instrument had been paid FOR IN FULL. DO NOT...DO NOT USE MUSIC & ARTS! Just read these other comments! There are TONS of them just like mine! This HAS to be a total scam and they need to be shut down IMMEDIATELY. I have been going back and forth with this company for more than a YEAR after I was done paying! When we originally got the instrument, they were "*********** *****." Right at that same time, they suddenly got "bought out" by this company (Music & Arts) and they have been a nightmare. I have had to cut off my debit card, change accounts, return harassing letters etc. You can't get a straight answer out of any of them. They try and confuse you and tell you that "OH, you owe for this fee or that fee", when really., YOU DON'T. I asked for a statement showing all I have paid and ANY amount I owe. They couldn't get me all of the info. Why is that? So, I pulled every single bank statement from 2021 to TODAY to show exactly what I have paid into this company that NEVER should have been taken from my account. Just like so many others, still waiting on that refund! Thank goodness my bank is finally handling this. It is a total SCAM and it's full of a bunch of frauds. I hope you ALL get caught and have to pay back every single penny you have stolen from all of us. Shameful. SMH.

            Ordered Manhasset Grande Director Music Stand and paid for express shipping. Item wasn't even shipped until after the 2 day express timeframe had passed. When I asked for a refund I was told express 2 day shipping didn't mean it would arrive in 2 days. Not only was the item late it was the wrong one. When a customer service manager finally returned my call he told me I would probably received the same wrong stand if he processed a replacement so I should return for a refund. I sent the time back and was told they had no record of its receipt. Thankfully, I was able to prove it with UPS tracking. It took them over a month to refund my money and I never got the express shipping fee back. If I could get zero stars I would.

            I feel totally scammed. We returned an instrument at the end of June beginning of July 2023 at the time their system was down and I was given a hand receipt. I also settled some charges because my card had changed and they never changed to the new card. This was done as we were PCS (military family) out of Virginia. Fas forward I received a bill for over $900 almost 2 yrs later! To my address in Arizona. When I called the billing department Ricardo the customer service guy called one store to see if the instrument could be located (they could not). I was then instructed by the gentleman to call the stores and see if it could be located because he didn’t have time…so now they loose the instrument and it’s up to me to locate it or pay them?! He said once they find it they can call him…gave me his name and extension #**** Unreal

            The absolute worst company I used to order saxophone reeds for my son. Initially I ordered 2 reeds, one for alto and the second one for tenor saxophone. I paid for one day shipping, didn’t receive the items until 4 days later. I also received a wrong reed, clarinet. I called the company they promised they would send me the correct reed as soon as possible, again I didn’t receive the item until 5 days later. I was shocked when they charged my account for the replacement reed. I understand one is $41 but they were the ones who messed up the order in the first place. After I called they sent me a UPS label and promised a refund. Today, 7 days later after UPS delivered the item they told me they still cannot mark the item as received so the refund cannot be issued, and to check back with them in a few days. Be aware and do not use this company to save yourself the unnecessary expense and hassle.

            Music and Art allow my 12 year old daughter to upgrade her violin without my knowledge. Music and Art then stop charging my credit card on file, I never received an invoice or statement and they sent my unpaid charges that they stop charging to a creditor. After numerous calls trying to resolve the issues no one would ever call me back and they kept charging late fees even thought I was trying to resolve the issue with no response on their end. I finally decide to go into the brick and mortar store to pay of the violin rental in full and the staff that was working was unable to look up my account maintain the violin or take payment. I called them again after this experience, did not receive a call back and continue to receive bills from their creditor. This business lacks integrity, does not attempt to have any customer courtesy, and appears to deliberately try not to resolve issues.

            this company are a bunch of con artist... story is to long to tell horrible customer service and they stole money from me. They admit to it on the phone but say there's nothing they can do but do a claim even though they see the way my money was stolen. Please do business elsewhere. Don't believe me call their customer service line and see how long it takes just to get a hold of someone.
