Approved partial payment in a timely fashion. We're going to call me but didn't. I called them and talked with customer service.

CARCHEX is a complete scam. I encourage people to read all of the one-star reviews and come to their own conclusions. Research will save you money, time, and frustration. In addition, I suggest trying to engage with the website that they have set up to help with your decision. You will find that the website is inoperable. This should be a wonderful clue as to how it will work if you file a claim with them. My experience is just like the others. Long story short, I paid for a warranty and the warranty was not honored when it came time to pay the repair shop. Once again, don't use these scam artists! You will regret this decision if you do.

This company is Nothing but trouble it keeps billing my card and I have had a Run around every time I talk to them They had to refund my payment last month now they charged my account again. I just got off the phone and a person told me that the policy is canceled but they never put in a stop payment. He said he would get it fixed but we shall see. Would NOT do any business with them at all.

Carchex is a Scam – Don’t Fall for Their Trap! I purchased a Powertrain Gold warranty (Contract #: ***********) through Carchex, expecting reliable coverage. However, when I needed to file a claim, ******** **** ****** (***), the administrator they assigned, wrongfully denied my valid claim based on incorrect service records that were later corrected by ****** and the repair facility. When I reached out to Carchex, they refused to take any responsibility, claiming they are “just the seller.” They market their warranties as peace of mind protection, but when it matters, they do nothing to support their customers. This is a fraudulent business practice—selling policies with zero accountability. Do NOT waste your money on Carchex! They will take your payment and leave you stranded when you actually need the coverage. Avoid this company at all costs!

I think Veronica knew exactly what I was asking her to do for me and did it in an exemplary, professional manner. I was quite satisfied.

Unethical and misleading advertising, from a fundamentally unethical company! When I purchased the policy, I asked the agent whether I could do any covered repairs at the dealership. The agent said "ABSOLUTELY!" What he did not tell me was that they will not approve original equipment (OEMs) or the labor rates of a typical dealership. They also "neglected" to let me know that they don't cover screws, hoses, and all sorts of auxiliary items that repair shops will not put back into the car in fear that they may fail. When someone fails to highlight critical information, they "lie by omission". CARCHEX makes money when they DON'T provide service. They are not your friend. They are your adversary, who makes money when you end up paying out of pocket. You THINK that you have coverage, but really you DON'T. Save your money and the aggravation.

I bought carchex on the 3rd of December, and took my car to a shop on the 30th for diagnostics. Turns out there were some codes that came up that needed my attention immediately, The shop called CarChex for a claim submission and Carchex stated it was an existing issue. After submitting numerous documents stating the original issue was fixed and this is an entirely new issue they stated the claim is staying in the denied state. Jared in disputes completely disregarded the updated documents from where the case was started and they completely came up with a new rule out of no where “since the diagnostic was schedule during the waiting period this claim will stay in denial” now I this makes zero sense as a diagnostic is not the same as a repair request. Never buy the warranty from this company again. Even when you have all the documentation stating it was in your favor they’ll outright deny it.

I purchased an extended warranty on a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu. The transmission failed on the vehicle and it was put into a Chevrolet repair facility for repairs. I filed a repair request through Carchex for the transmission and it was approved. Carchex purchased the transmission from a salvage yard and had it shipped to the repair facility. The first transmission was faulty, and another one was shipped from the same vendor. The second transmission was also faulty. I contacted Carchex and was told it was up to the vendor to determine the next course of action. I paid for the warranty, not the vendor. Carchex appears to want to keep ordering faulty transmissions from the same vendor. My vehicle has been in the repair facility for a month. I was told by a Carchex representative that I could not pay for the repairs out of pocket and get reimbursed for some of the expense, because it has to be the vendors decision. Carchex is allowing the vendor to make repair decisions instead of working with me and the repair facility.
