I purchased pens from a seller on ****** doing business as Matadora Crafting Corps. The seller would only accept ***** ******* * ****** for payment. I received my order, but one of the pens was damaged. I asked the seller if they would mind replacing that one pen. They replied stating that they would replace the pen on 10/25/2023. On 11/6/2023, I reached out again and asked if they had tracking for the replacement. I received no response. I emailed again on 11/9/2023 to follow up and received no response. Eventually I commented on the ***** transaction informing them that I would not purchase from them in the future since they were refusing to provide the promised solution to the issue or communicate with me. I never heard ANYTHING from this seller. I had no option to leave a review since their shop on ****** had been removed or was empty. I left comments on the most recent videos to explain my experience with the seller. Never heard anything at all. Yesterday, on 11/27/2023, I received a package in the mail containing a "glitter bomb" from this seller. Unfortunately, the type of glitter they included is dangerous to pets if ingested, and I do have a cat in my home. I can only assume that this was an effort to retaliate against me for the comments I left on the seller's videos in place of a review (which I was not able to do). Please note, nothing I stated in these comments was false or exaggerated. I emailed the seller to inform them that I had received their "prank" and requested a refund for the items she sent to me. The seller replied back threatening "legal action" for "defamation of character" and insinuated that I had admitted to spreading false information about her character or her business, which I did not do. The seller has ceased communication with me. I would like to receive a refund for my full order (happy to return the products) due to my items being damaged and due to the prank that endangered my pet.

I craft beadable pens and occasionally sell on ****** live under the handle “Matadora Crafting Corps.” On the night of 15 October 2023, ****** ****** came into my live under the ****** handle “*******.” She stated that she liked my beadable pens and would like to purchase from me. We agreed on the pens that she wanted to purchase and the transaction was completed via ***** in the amount of $76.00 on 15 October 2023 at 20:08pm.

On 17 October 2023, I emailed ****** ****** to the email address she provided “********************” to confirm the shipping label is printed and her package will be mailed via US postal Service (****). Prior to packaging my pens, I perform a through inspection of each item before it is shipped.

On 23 October 2023, ****** ****** emailed me stating that one of her pens was “damaged” and requested a replacement. On 25 October 2023 I responded to ****** ****** stating that I will send her a replacement pen.

Due to obligations during late October and early November, and simultaneously going out of the country on vacation, I was unable to check my email or send the replacement pen right away, which I take full responsibilty. ****** ****** emailed me on 6 November 2023 and 9 November 2023 asking for a follow up. When I did not respond to her right away, she began to compose messages to me via email, ***** and commenting slanderous and defamatory statements on my public ****** account. I blocked her account to protect my online reputation as well as my mental well being.

Once I returned from my vacation in mid November, I followed up on ****** ******’s request and mailed her a replacement pen on/about 16 November 2023. The package consisted of one replacement pen, a note which stated “Happy Holidays” and a small amount of pet safe, biodegradbal glitter in the package for festive flair. This is what I have done for all my holiday packages. I also have two cats and a large dog who are consistently around my crafting materials, like the glitter used in the package and have had absolutely no adverse actions or issues with regard to their health and well being.

On 27 November 2023 she stated that she received my package and proceeded to insult and threaten me. She stated that she was going to report my package to the **** ******, report me for ***** on ****** as well as ***** and stated that if I sent her anything else via **** that she will have her “attorney” wife serve me with a Cease and Desist letter. She proceeded to send multiple emails following and also a video of her opening the package with the contents inside. She is claiming that I sent her a “glitter bomb” and stated that I jeopardized her safety and that of her house hold pet.

I responded to ****** ****** on 27 November 2023 stating to kindly refrain from making an false statements, threats or defamatory remarks about me and the content of my character. In response to my email, Ashley sent an email once more extorting me for a full refund of $76.00 and if I did not provide the fund by 9:00am on 28 November 2023 that she will contact her “attorney,” report my package to the **** ****** and report me on ****** for “illegal” sales. She states in her email that I started a “war” over a pen. At that point I blocked her email and did not respond as I am concerned over the mental state of ****** ****** and her intentions. Although I had blocked her initial email address, she emailed me again under the email address “[email protected]” with the subject line stating, “lol, your business is over.” I have attached the email for reference. ****** ****** proceeded to state that she will contact the “appropriate authorities to report me for illegal sales. I intend to report my freelance income on a Form 1040C.

****** ****** has repeatedly posted defamatory and false statements on my ****** page under 7 different ****** handles and I have since blocked and filtered any comments people may make moving forward. At this point, ****** ****** received the initial package delivered on 17 October 2023, and the replacement pen (at no cost to her) mailed on/about 16 November 2023. I no longer have any need to be involved with this individual but she is going out of her way to harass me via email and ******.

As of 30 December 2023, I contacted the Baltimore FBI regarding the continued online harrassment and filed a formal complaint on their website (ic3.gov). I am in contact with an attorney to compose a Cease & Desist letter for ****** ******. I no longer will provide further responses regarding this matter.
