We are an active duty military family that were stationed at ******** ******* ******* Maryland. We searched for a house and found Envision Builders starting on a home in Churchville Maryland. We went under contract with a completion date of July 31, 2023. The closing date was continually pushed back with little notice. We did not close until November 9, 2023. We had to stay in a hotel for 3.5 months with children and a pet because the builder kept telling us the house would be done in a couple weeks preventing us the opportunity to find suitable housing. Also the home interest rates increased about 2% during this time - we had difficulty locking in a rate because the builder could not give us a firm closing date. After we moved in, we noticed items that needed to be fixed. We gave a list to the builder and he repaired a few but not all. We have repeatedly asked for warranty fixes in our house and have been mostly ignored. I began a consistent email chain with an excel page of the requested warranty fixes May 31, 2024. Most of the email chain is me repeatedly requesting that they come out to do the repairs. On September 23, 2024 I re-emailed the excel document and also attached the executive summary report from an independent home inspection that we paid for. I asked for all items to be repaired. Very little communication has happened from this date and no repairs. Envision Builders in in violation of the contract. We would like all the items repaired properly and in a timely fashion.

The clients home was delayed initially because of us not being to get power from BGE on a timely basis which has been and continues to be an issue. We moved them in as quickly as possible given their situation as they were in temporary housing. This did not allow us to complete every item prior to move in as is our normal process. We did perform several walk throughs with the clients and established a list of items to complete which we began working on. We have subsequently received additional lists including most recently a home inspection report. Normally with new construction if a client wants to have a home inspection it is done prior to closing. We now have yet another list which they feel is supposed to be completed as well.My son who works with me in the building company reached out last week to Mrs ***** regarding best days to get into the home this week but unfortunately both of his children became ill and have been out of school this week and I am away. He should have contacted Mrs ***** regarding not being avaiIable thsi week but did not. I will have my son contact Mrs ***** to schedule for next week. In closing we will complete all warrantable items as quickly as possible.

I am rejecting this response because:

Over the last 2 weeks, I have given 8 out of 10 work days I can make arrangements to be available, as I work full time as well, and have not heard from the builder on a day and time they are coming. I would like an agreement that the requested fixes sent from May 31st and Sept 23rd will be fixed even if the builder cannot complete the request by Nov 9, 2024. The builder has not made arrangements to come to the house since the Sept 23rd email and scarcely before then. I feel we requested changes in ample time, but as we enter November, we would like assurance that these requested issues will be fixed.

    Sincerely,
