They are scammers at this place! Don’t trust them to pack or ship anything! They took my iteams and their team in Maryland stole items, and it landed in jamaica the broker here did the same thing. They over charged me and shipping two chairs as one piece each. One mattress as one piece! They did this to a women the is Blind and returning home. These people have no heart. Just take the drive to New York for call another company. They are stealing from their own people. Please take your business somewhere else!! they haven't called me to make it right. I'm going to report them to BBB, and raise awareness about them in our community. These vultures needs to be stopped!

I highly recommend Caribbean cargo for your shipping needs. Ive been shipping with them for some years now, for my family and friends, as well as my nonprofit organization. The Staff is always so helpful and well organized. Their dock workers are experts at helping you pick the right shipping container for your needs. most importantly, my packages arrive in a timely manner and in good condition. Thank you, Caribbean Cargo DC for all you do for the DC Caribbean community.

Caribbean Cargo needs to be monitored by the US Bureau of standards, or which ever legal, officiating body that monitors quality standard!!!! They are doing stupid questionable things!!!April 9, 2024, three barrels were packed and paid for to be shipped to the Caribbean at a cost of approximately 600 bucks.Caribbean Cargo's date per their calendar for the next available shipment was April 16, 2024.I called April 10,.2024, I was told by an office personnel that my barrels were being prepped for shipment on the date as stipulated on their calendar April 16, 2024.May 2,2024, two weeks later, a call was placed to inquire about the barrels, relative to tracking.Office personnel relayed that the 3 barrels were still in their warehouse. Please note, there has been zero communication from these people relative to a delay in their affairs, relative to being back logged, nothing!!!Criminal;1. I have already paid heavily, for all goods and services hither with, per the agreement. 2.Information given both on the phone from the office personnel and too from their calendar is downright dishonest, inaccurate and misleading. This company needs to be monitored by the US, Bureau of standards for quality service.

Caribbean Cargo DC begins this response by noting that this shipper has mistreated our staff via phone and continues to exhibit harassing behavior in the form of insults and the belittling of our company and staff on social media and review platforms. Per her written/emailed request for no further calls, we have opted to limit communication with her to email only. We saw her reviews and listened to her extremely rude voice message. We acknowledged that the shipper was expecting the cargo to have been shipped. However, she neglected to observe the fact that our company's 2024 shipping calendar clear states that shipment dates and arrival dates are ESTIMATES. This being noted and brought to her attention, we wrote to this shipper via email and left a reply on her ******** and ****** Reviews to determine next steps after offering her a full refund of her payment for the shipment and the return of her cargo to her local (***) address. Alternatively, we offered the shipper the option to still ship her cargo on Friday, May 3rd, 2024, as we had planned before she began to lambast the company. We advised that her cargo, should she choose to continue with the shipment, would leave our warehouse to keep the estimated arrival date in ***********: May 17th. The cargo has left our warehouse as of today: May 3rd. Also, the cargo going to her destination arrives typically within a few weeks but we present estimated dates for shipment and arrival to the destination (per our shipping calendar) in the event our office needs to make adjustment internally. To repeat: We asked if this shipper would like us to return her cargo and issue her a full refund or if she prefer to move forward with the shipment. She chose to continue and move forward with the shipment today. We note this agreement per the received email communication as well as a reply to our ******** review which she left of the same indicating that she would like to continue the shipment. *******, this written acceptance from this shipper notes that the she acknowledges the estimated arrival of her cargo: May 17th, 2024. This was the same estimated arrival date as the shipper was advised when she dropped of her cargo on April 9, 2024. There has been no change to her cargo's estimated arrival date. Therefore, her negative reviews and behavior is not warranted. We also note that the mistreatment of our staff is unacceptable.

Caribbean Cargo DC (CC-DC) is a lifesaver and money saver for me. Having to previously use the postal service to ship items to ********, I greatly appreciate CC-DC now that I have access to them whenever I need them. They provide excellent and friendly service, great takes, great deals, and great customer service. The atmosphere is pleasant even while the packers and office staff work past the closing time to accommodate all their customers. Even the convenience of picking up from my home is great. I was happy when I discovered CD-DC and will be a happy customer for years to come.

This is one if not the best shipper to the Caribbean. I have shipped nearly 30 barrels to TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO between 2010 to present. Without any major incident. If any problem occurred,it was resolved before close of business. This company is no expansive and the staff is very professional.

I had to call the Police today for the owner’s to give me a print out of my shipment information that was incorrect. They also kicked me out the office after I asked them to review my invoice for discrepancies in the weight of my cargo, charges added. The owner was pissed That queried about my invoice and told me to leave. These are issues I faced: **Lack of Professionalism: people gossiping about clients, no one accurately explaining the cost and process or shipping cargo of any sort, multiple people would be involved with the invoice. This causes inaccurate info, no one can tell you wants going and it becomes chaotic * Drivers lack Professionalism * Erroneous Charges and or different amounts will be added to your invoice: I was given a breakdown in writing for the cost of a D container. So I ended up buying two D Container to start off with. When they picked up my stuff I the receive the invoice with extra miscellaneous fees(3 different handling fees, higher pick up fee). Well those fee came up to about $136 extra. I had no Choice but to pay because they had 2 of my cargosIn the back being held for ransom. The total was above $960 but they had to give me a discount on the pick up fees( I was charged 2 times) because I was misquoted the amount. They only give me 1 credit). shipment itself only cost $399 per Container but with the fees I was way over $798 On my 3rd container which was supposed to be charged as 1 container separately The representative made an invoice that included the previous payment of $936 but added more money to each item to make it reflect as if i had a balance which i off course didn’t because i paid for the 2 containers by themselves. She also added $136 incorrectly when I had already paid part of that amount in my previous invoice. She added another random fee, charge me the same amount for pick up I was discounted. My bill should have been around $490 or so and it came up to $636….this company is a complete rip off.

Hello. We note that you left 2 negative reviews and it appears they are within 2 months of each other. Are these for separate shipments? After checking our email communications, there are not messages from the email address you provided to BBB so we cannot locate your invoice or invoices; if that be the case. We would like the opportunity to research this as this is quite surprising. Please provide your invoice number so we can look into this matter. Thank you.

Hi, Mr. S*****. I hope you are doing well. We wanted to provide an update as we have located your shipment back in Aug 7th 2022 to Trinidad. We note the cargo was a bit delayed by about two and half weeks. However, you were given the delay notice in advance. According to our 2022 schedule, the previous ship date was Aug 2 2022 and you missed this one as we received your cargo on Aug 9th: putting your cargo with the Aug 16 ship date and Sept 16 2022 ETA for delivery at destination. You then sent a second shipment on September 18 2022 and refused to pay even though we made several attempts to collect payment. As you know payments are due at the time cargo is received from you. When the you finally made payment on October 31st, 2022 we then released your cargo at destination. Your cargo was at destination from October 17th and was at the port at destination for 15 days before you paid us for our services. Before cargo arrival, you called several times and accused us of being dishonest about the ETA. We reminded you of our many published notices stating that the arrival dates are indeed estimates only. You also called several times a day during a one week period only to receive the same answer time and time again. During some of your calls you became aggressive and abusive so we eventually escalated your call to our General Manager. Again, your cargo was not released until the payment you owed was made. We afforded you a courtesy that we generally do not offer to any other customer and that is the fact that we shipped your cargo without payment. We note that you did not pay in full until October 31, 2022.

They are misleading persons from the islands/ overall customers, about there responsibility. They charging then when there trouble they claiming they not responsible. So the question why are we giving them our money for getting our barrel/ boxes from one location to another if they are not responsible. We need to start filing claims against these kind of shipping companies and they doing it against the same persons that pays there salary. It's about time, if I have to be the first one to file a claim against companies like this then so be it. They taking full advantage knowing they are one of the only Caribbean companies in the area. It needs to stop, plus some of these employees don't know how to speak to customers, maybe immigration needs to visit some of these shipping companies .
