Finances Demystified and its owner Dominique B********** host online investment seminars that claim to teach you trading strategies that will allow you to quickly and easily make money trading stocks, options, and futures. She charges thousands of dollars saying that you will have lifetime access to the online program and products and updates to those programs but what she doesn’t tell you is that she will eventually capped those programs and start a brand new program leaving those who paid for lifetime access out in the cold. Finances Demystified marketed services that would give lifetime access to ongoing live trading sessions, individual coaching sessions, free lifetime ******* access communicating with other investors, access to a high-performance coach and access to custom investing algorithms or “bots” that would automate trading stocks, options, and futures for financial success. She did not deliver on these commitments. She is an unscrupulous business woman that has used high-pressured sales tactics to trick many innocent people into spending thousands of dollars for her products and services which she does not deliver.Initial Complaint

In 2021, I paid $24,997 to Dominique B*******, owner of Finances Demystified, LLC.. She falsely marketed and advertised ongoing lifetime live futures training, High-performance trading coaches, workshops, profitable trading bots, and free lifetime access to the ******* community. The live futures training and ******* community was to be forever as indicated in her emails and marketing. However, she has discontinued these programs and started another trading program. She never provided the high performance trading coaches or workshops. Dominique has refused to honor these contractual programs and has refused to refund any amount of money to me. She has breached her written contract with me and has scammed thousands of dollars from me and thousands of other consumers. Finances Demystified and Dominique B******* are operating a classic bait and switch marketing investment program. I paid for an advance stock trading course $5000. I specifically asked one of the owners if I would have access to the live courses and discord forever and he replied yes. Now the owners are changing the programs and trying to charge a fee for both and not honoring what we paid for. There are others who were in the course who are threatening a class action law suit.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to explain our side of this unfortunate situation. We are disappointed it has come to this. We take pride in our services and have discomfort knowing someone has not had a pleasant experience.
Finances Demystified’s Recollection of the Events:
The Complainant has been enrolled and involved in many financial courses since August 2020 and has participated in at least three (3) courses, including “The Wealth Transfer”. The Complainant has had access to four (4) separate live teachings of Trade Masters courses since then, and still has access to the replays of all of Trade Masters as well.
When a consumer purchases one of our online courses, they instantly receive access to all materials related to the course, access to the private Trading Masters course discord group, live hands-on training sessions, lifetime access, and additional resources. “Lifetime access” means the enrollees can watch recordings of the live lectures after the course is completed and any of the previous courses that were offered before they enrolled. In the Complainant's case, they had, and continue to have, access to the recordings of the live classes from all of the Trade Masters courses they were enrolled in, and all the online courses that were offered before, since Finances Demystified began offering these types of courses.
In the past, we have offered multiple online trading courses throughout the year. Unfortunately, after the January 2022 course, due to unforeseen circumstances and internal personnel matters, Finances Demystified decided not to host anymore online courses for the foreseeable future. When this decision was made, the people enrolled in the course, who would be affected by this decision, were informed. That decision was extremely difficult to make, but it was made while keeping the consumers’ best interest in mind. Ultimately, Finances Demystified did not want to compromise the integrity of the course or the information that was being provided.
After the Trade Masters courses were discontinued, Finances Demystified offered all Trade Masters students a free year of access to the new Wealth Demystified program. Wealth Demystified is Finances Demystified’s new subscription program that they shifted to after Trade Masters. We believe the Complainant is mistakenly thinking the Wealth Demystified is the same as The Wealth Transfer (TWT) and Trade Masters courses, which ended and are no longer taught and sold live.
Overall, the misconception and miscommunication here is that enrollees do not receive access to all live courses after purchasing one course. The value of each course is the knowledge received and access to the relevant communities available through purchasing a course. Given that the last course was completed in its entirety, and those enrolled in the January 2022 course still have access to all of the recordings and were offered a free year subscription to the new program, Finances Demystified does not believe a refund is fair or justifiable. Finances Demystified believes the Complainant received the value they paid for the services when they registered for the online courses. Complainant joined the Trade Masters at Cohort 6 which kicked off on May 2, 2021. Since that day, Complainant has had full access to the library of replays even from previous cohorts. Complainant also has the ability to join live for Cohorts 7 , 8 , and 9. As stated above, when a consumer purchases one of our online courses, they obtain access to all materials and previous recordings.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The owner Dominque B******* is not being forthright and honest about the situation. There are hundreds of consumers who are frustrated with what has happen. I am not at all confused about what I paid for. I paid $5000.00 for the ADVANCE Trading class, which was supposed to include lifetime access to the ******* chat group where the owner and her ex-husband would provide tips on trading. The access to ******* was to be FOREVER if you paid for and signed up for the ADVANCE class, which is what I did. The screenshot shows this. Now the owner has decided to be greedy and has deleted the ******* chat and is not providing us with what was promised. She stated that they have changed the terms and conditions (which we never signed, and this happened over a year after we signed up) and now we will have access to a NEW ******* account and all of the live classes for ONE YEAR ONLY. Not FOREVER as promised and stated. After the ONE YEAR is up, we are expected to pay a monthly fee for something that we already paid for.
Again, Dominique B******* is scamming people out of their hard-earned money, and she is doing so in a very arrogant and cocky way. She has no remorse and no desire to fix this issue. She constantly brags about making 7 figures and living lavish, which is fine, if she wasn't scamming people to do it. There are SEVERAL people who this has happened to and at this point I want my money back. Especially because I asked her company to honor the lifetime/forever access to ******* and the LIVE sessions that were promised for the ADVANCE class and she refused. Her previous partner/ex-husband and past employees have acknowledged that she is money hungry and doesn't really care about the customers nor cares to provide us with what we paid for.
I have attached several screenshots of other customers who have been scammed, as well as emails that show what we were supposed to receive and that it says lifetime. One message from Dominique's partner says YES when I asked if we get access to ******* forever.
I am sure that plenty of people would agree that this business is a fraud.

Paid $1997 for the initial education course, in August 2021. In November 2021, upgraded course (TradeMasters) for $6000 which would include: live trading sessions; any upgrades to course material from initial course and TradeMasters with "lifetime" access; community app to communicate and share information (*******). Monthly Subscription to Trading Tool BOT: $497.00 a month; which included any upgrades to the BOT. In March 2022, the BOT was scheduled to be upgraded and the TradeMasters course material was scheduled to be updated; we received neither. In April, we were told "lifetime" didn't mean lifetime and the person who developed the BOT was no longer with the company so it would not be upgraded. As the students began to discuss our dissatisfaction and requests for refunds, on the Discord app; we were terminated and the channels were shutdown.Initial Complaint

Dominique B******* and her husband **** ******* advertised The Wealth Transfer (TWT) and Trading Masters (TM) courses as lifetime courses, with the ability to trade options and futures live. They told us that we should pay $5,000 to lock in the price because the price was increasing. This would allow us to attend future courses and trade live with the instructor. TM was to occur every other month. The last TM was January 2022. Each time the students inquired about future courses for March, May 2022, etc.) in Discord, we were told they were improving the program and it would be available soon. Then, this week (~31May22) a student saw a post by Dominique Broadway on social media stating she's ending the course after June 2022. For the past 4 months they knew it would no longer be available, but they kept telling us the program was being improved, and would be available soon. They held a meeting today, and the majority of the 750 attendees felt cheated. I requested a refund, and was told they would not be issuing refunds. The owner and her husband made millions off of us. She has an article on how she went from being broke to earning $8.5M. Her husband, **** *******, has left TWT, and has now created a separate company (***********************). Also, TWT has blatantly used ** ***********s (***) training material as their own, with no acknowledgement given to ***. I'm sure the FTC and/or BBB will receive many complaints over the next few days. I ask to be compensated, and/or shut them down. My plan was to focus on options and then return to attend the futures courses, including live training. Now, this will not occur, and I'm out $5,000 for the Trading Masters. After the multiple complaints in Discord, Finances Demystified prevented all the students from voicing their concerns, and hid/deleted the history. I, however, took snips before they did this. It is believed this business is a colossal scam that affected at least 500 people and counting. The company claims to be financial course that offered lifetime access to online lessons through a $7500 financial course called "Trade Masters", but as of late, the CEO and her husband who led the online financial course appear legally separated and are no longer "teaching" the course, Finances Demystified: Wealth Transfer Course. Also, the majority of teachings appear fake and do not work on options, futures, or any of the so called financial instruments taught. When asked for a partial refund, the CEO's response through her rep was, "All sales are final and have been delivered." This LLC is a fraud and needs to investigated by BBB or the US Justice Department immediately. Note, others will be filing a class-action suit against the sham company. Her husband or former spouse, **** ******* appear separated for he apparently encouraged her to "do the right thing". The main culprit of the fraud is the CEO, "Dominque B*******".Initial Complaint

The business sold a trading program with lifetime access to course materials and a platform that would be maintained. Since they have decided to update and create an entirely new program for trading and trade masters, this program would not be offered to us nor would our existing platform continue to be maintained or fixed. We have been advised that we would need to pay for the new course if we wanted to access or continue using a platform that is dysfunctional at best. Videos cannot be found, most are filled with inspirational talks instead of teaching the materials needed. Students were not taught a lot of the fundamentals needed to trade accurately. How can you trade when you did not earn how to read candlesticks? We are receiving messages on social media instead of in the **** group telling us that the course is being shut down and then we all got shut out when the complaints got too heavy for them to address. Now we also find out they fired one of the main employees for being honest with us and letting us know we are just a dollar to them and not people. All I am asking for is my refund for not getting what I have paid for this entire time.
