I recently purchased a new construction townhouse in the ******** ***** community. We were made aware of the water damage, but a by 3rd party inspector who happened to be inspecting homes over a weekend in the fall of 2020. He was looking at our unit while it was in its framed and wrapped stage and warned us about Piccard's failure to properly build the home and WORSE any support to remediate the homes. Now after having the house for 6 months I see the horrible business practices by Piccard. We have water leaking through 2 recessed lights in our MBR bath, we had another leak in the powder room and inspecting the piping I can see they have multiple code violates. The leak has been going on for over 2 months. It comes through the recessed lights, over wires so it is a fire hazzard. Piccard has done nothing to resolve the issue. They told us to put a bucket under the leaks. They have yet to even inspect the damage caused by their extremely poor business practices. And we are not alone, every neighbor on our street has had multiple, issues with Piccard, none of the issues successfully resolved. 40 townhomes are being remediated for serious mold, structural and water damage. I have a family member who owns one of these houses, $15,000 out of their own pocket to fix a Piccard issue. Piccard is an over-priced, cheap, poor quality, no customer services builder. I would not recommend them to anyone. Who ever gave them an A+ needs to go back to gradeschool to learn what the letters represent. They are easily a D- for our issues, factoring in the other similar issues 50+ families are dealing with brings them to an F. I challenge the rating of an A+ and would like to hear from those that determined this "deceptive" rating. People come to BBB for truth and experience with businesses. If you can't trust ratings at the BBB, then might as well shut down the site and prevent misleading prospective buyers.
