If you have thousands of dollars to waste, this review is not for you. If you are a baller on a budget just trying to to be healthier like me, please continue reading. I gave 2 stars. 1 for the information learned and service providers. And 1 star for the physical trainer, Damien ****. He is 100% worth it. This company lost stars with the misleading supposed coverage and surprise growing bill a month later. The front desk will continuously schedule you without checking insurance coverage with their codes of service, and knowing that they will not process your claims for a month. Basically if CoreLife accept your insurance provider, they will tell you you are 100% covered, which is very misleading and should be illegal. I recommend going to one appointment if you want to risk it and waiting the month or whenever they file your first claim to see how your insurance handles the first medical code. They will also not disclose how much services cost. My friends and I compared the base pay and it was the same. The service type sent to the insurance company varied though. When my claims started to come though a month later I canceled all appointments because it was slowly creeping up to ~$1300. Cost per service at the Pasadena, MD location off mountain road, 2024. First intro visit with the nurse practitioner to go over the patient plan, take vitals and measurements ( including behavioral assessment $15 ): $543 First dietician visit: $408 First behavioral therapy visit: $389 Followup nurse practitioner: $225 Followup dietician: $267 Followup behavioral therapy: $389 The personal trainer is upfront with costs and have a selection of fair price points, without contract obligations. The prices were the lowest I've seen in the area, especially with a highly educated professional.

Horrible customer service and approachablity. Limited knowledge of comorbidities. An opportunity grabbing company. Stay away and choose a practictioner with relevant experience.

The Corelife in Salisbury Md. has gone through many transformations and still not right. The staff hired are unprofessional, non-caring, and just can not relate to the individuals that need help with making their lives better. Not all but ones recently hired like customer service protocol. I have heard many complaints and no one is listening!

Re: Core Life, Westminster, MD Fortunately, I had good success with the program. Unfortunately, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ORGANIZATION. What a chaotic, disorganized provider when it comes to billing/financials. My insurance was verified about a week prior to starting the program. I was told that the initial intake would be 100% covered, to include seeing the nurse, nutritionist and movement person. I was told that, after the intake, my insurance would not cover any visit with the nutritionist. I agreed to pay that cost out of pocket. My final visit to Core Life was on May 25, 2022. Up to that point, the billing still was up to date but I continued to pay what I owed until I thought my financial obligation was complete. On March 22, 2023, I received a bill in the amount of $321.60 for the initial consultation with the nutritionist on October 21, 2021. I tried getting the issued resolved with the billing department but the person I spoke to said she couldn't do anything to help and that I would have to contact the Westminster office directly. So, I tried that twice with the promise of "it's being reviewed" and "I'll get back to you." Since then, I've received two more bills both with the same statement date. I have NEVER received a call back. This billing issue has ruined my whole experience with Core Life. If you need help, try a different provider. No one needs this kind of aggravation.

After waiting several weeks for an opening for a 15 minute phone consultation, my son booked an appointment online to speak to a CoreLife counselor. On the day of the appointment, he received a text confirmation about one hour before the scheduled time, but never received a call from the intake counselor. This was frustrating enough, but beyond that, the Customer Service Representative did not bother to return three phone calls to inquire as to why the counselor had missed the appointment. Despite our misgivings, my son signed up for another 15 minute consultation (which he again had to wait several weeks for), only to be "stood up" once again by the intake counselor. No call, no text, no explanation, nothing. For a business that is focused on supporting vulnerable individuals during a difficult time, this is entirely unacceptable and completely disappointing. If this is the level of service provided on the front-end, it does not inspire a lot of confidence for ongoing care and support once someone becomes a paying customer. Needless to say, we are done with CoreLife and would never recommend them to anyone.
