  I tried to have them negotiate a spectrum bill and they pulled out 147 dollars from my account. I paid 4 dollars more on my spectrum bill. Therefore, I know they did not negotiate nothing. Don't trust Rocket Money, they are a Scam.

  I used Rocket Money's bill negotiation service to lower my ******* bill. First they emailed me telling me that they weren't able to lower it and I didn't think on it any further. A few weeks later I started to get random calls from *******, which I ignored, thinking that if one of my kids was trying to make changes on the account, they would let me know. I then got an odd voicemail from a ******* *** that stated that I, in my call (I never called them) had gotten upset and hung up on them after calling them liars. This raised a red flag for me and I called *******. It turns out, Rocket money had been calling them pretending to be me and they were harassing them for not being able to lower my phone bill (which they had already sent me an email saying that they could not lower it). Shortly after, I got an email from Rocket money saying that they were successful in giving me a discount of $70 a money for 12 months, coming to roughly $910 over the course of the year. When contacting *******, they found that the discount came from disconnecting two of the phones on our plan, which, of course, were needed. They reconnected the phones and the ******* ***resentative worked with me to completely secure my ******* account and told me about this situation occurring frequently with people using Rocket money. In the meantime, Rocket money is now telling me that I owe them $455 (50% of the discount) for lowering my phone bill $70 a month for 12 months. My phone bill is not lowered. I'm trying to figure out if I can gain any support from them to have that $455 cancelled and I'm not getting any support from them. I plan to speak to a lawyer and to look further into this situation.

  I signed up with Rocket Money specifically to cancel unused, forgotten subscriptions. When they offered to negotiate a lower bill for one provider i authorized them to negotiate. I excpected a fee, but when i asked how much they couldnt tell me didnt even say 30-60% , so i was shocked with the *** they charged, over $600!

  Rocket money is a total scam. To my knowledge I never joined their site. They withdraw funds from my bank account...? And it's been impossible for me to cancel my "membership". **** N

  I have a **** credit card with Rocket Money and I use it to collect points so that when I purchase another home, I can redeem those points for cash in closing costs. I have a credit score of 811, have never been late on a payment, pay my account off each month and have nevee gone over my limit. Today, they have suspended my account for security review. When I called them, I was told that my card would be turned off for a min of 30 days. I asked them if my card was used for possible fraudulent charges and they stated no, that this is a common thing for them to randomly do...which it's not. I will bw canceling my card with them ASAP.

  Terrible company. I was with Rocket Money and cancelled my account but am still getting charged every month for $7.00. it's impossible to get rid of!!!!!

  Watch out for their lies. First, their mortgage process is a joke. You will do far more garbage paperwork and pay for far more garbage processes compared to any other mortgage provider. Yes, I have done the mortgage process before, their practice IS NOT *************, when you finally get the mortgage done, you will start seeing their credit card offer claiming you can get up to 2% cash back for your mortgage payments.... THAT IS A BOLD FACED LIE!!!! You have to use the card on other purchases to get points, then the points you can use for the mortgage, but that is not what they make it seem like. So they did a bait and switch because you cannot use a credit card for the mortgage payment, therefore cannot earn cashback on the mortgage payment. This lie cause them to damage my credit by running a report under false pretenses. The card has been canceled immediately upon this finding.

  If anyone has Rocket Money, immediately delete everything that you have linked to them and delete your account! I got a call from my cable/internet company this afternoon. She asked if I had just called in to them and I told her no. She told me that all day long Rocket Money/Truebill has been calling in and impersonating people. My cable/internet provider has a company chat and numerous calls were reported by numerous employees on their chat today. They knew some of my security answers but not all! When the impersonator was told they can't get told any information the guy got ****** and was going off on the gal. She said she is hanging up and calling the number on file. The guy kept going off so she hung up on him. Well that was my number she called and not Rocket Money. I immediately deleted my information off of Rocket Money. I was also told that Rocket Money has changed customers services and has even canceled customer accounts from my cable/internet provider! They also charge you a percentage of what they "save" you. That is stepping way over the line by trying to impersonate people! That is not a way to run any business! I am blasting this info everywhere and I will have it so it can be shared. I highly encourage you to share this and warn your friends and family also! It will be blasted on Rocket Money's social media accounts and reported to the Better Business Bureau! Rocket Money has already received a big, long nasty-gram from me. Rocket Money needs a class action lawsuit brought against them so blast this everywhere so millions of Americans will see this, delete their accounts and put ********************** out of business!

  I signed up to see if they could negotiate better deals with recurring payments (cable tv, etc.). The interface is slick, and well presented. The back end is concerning and their negotiations were poor. They didn't listen to what I indicated would be a good solution and instead just negotiated a promotional rate. Then they take their entire fee and I have to wait 6 months to make up the difference. NOT worth the 2 weeks it took them to "negotiate" and I'll cancel everything with Rocket Money and do it myself next time. Also convenient that "negotiations" took until 2 days past the new billing cycle and it isn't prorated so Specrum gets their full amount for one additional month. Plus, their app sends constant notifications about credit score updates, but you have to pay them to see what that means. The whole premiss of the company and app is "We want to help you" when in fact it is "we want to know where all your money is and is going so we can try and take a cut."So long Rocket Money.

  Rocket Money posed as me for their "bill negotiation" feature to attempt to lower my Spectrum bill. As a result, my account was flagged by fraud protection. I was told by ******** that someone called pretending to be me, asking about discounts. I had to reset my whole account, passwords, security questions, and answer a bunch of public records questions about myself in order to get access to my account back. I have canceled my account with **********************. They use fraudulent tactics, and I am not at all comfortable doing business with them anymore.
