Reston ***************** Doctors are good. Billing is unethical and I think illegal and VERY Rude. They will bill your card if you keep it on file without your authorization even if you are making payments. I was making payments on my remaining balance, I made a payment of $100 on 3/28/24 and a $50.00 payment on 4/15/24. On 4/26/24, my remaining balance ~$280 was paid off and marked on my portal as overdue although I had made 2 payments in the last month. This $280 payment was done without authorization from me(account holder) nor did i sign up for any monthly payment plans. When I called the office, the lady who I spoke to advise me that this is the policy that they have authorization since my credit card is on file(which I dont remember ever telling you that you could store it in the 1st place), to pay off the remaining balance once insurance has been processed and then proceeded to hang up on me. I know you want your money but this bad policy to charge customers cards without their authorization. I will not be coming back as a patient and will be filing BBB complaint as I believe it is unethical and unlawful to charge someone's card without their permission. I suggest you review this policy and whoever I talked to could not explain why my account was paid in full when I had made 2 payments in the last month other than this is policy and patients were informed(how I dont know--(you cant expect someone to read every line of those forms you throw at them when they come as a new patient).
