Nov 7th 2019 purchased new DeWalt 7-1/4" Circular saw 20V battery with a three year warranty. It quit working aft using it only 3 or 4 times. I took it to an Authorized DeWalt Service center locally on Aug 4th 2021 here in Modesto. They ordered parts from DeWalt but some of the parts to repair it have never come in. It has been sitting in the shop now for almost 4 months and my purchase has become worthless to me if they won't fix it. The service place is ******** ***** ***** ***. **********.********** I don't know what else to do, I need the saw to do my job and don't have the money to buy another saw. thanks *** *****Business response

I purchased A Dewalt Hammer Drill DW520 model A and used it 8 times. The hammer part failed, I contacted Dewalt customer service and was told it is covered under warranty and to take it to an Authorized repair facility near me. I dropped the unit off on September 8th 2021 and waited until October 5th or so to call on an update. I was told all parts were available and they were waiting on Dewalt to ship them. On October 15th(dates may not be exact) as the Authorized repair facility told me 1 of the parts was on backorder with NO ETA. I asked Dewalt if a replacement drill could be an option, I was told they had a replacement but it was a battery operated unit and it was SMALLER(LESSER) than my unit. I told them that was unacceptable but I was willing to pay the difference for an UPGRADE.. The representative told me that the "LIST" of replacement items does NOT include anything other than what I was offered... Then the representative told me to call the Authorized repair facility and find out where the item was(this was ALREADY MADE CLEAR THAT DEWALT WAS ON BACKORDER WITH NO ETA). I still have NO HAMMER DRILL, I paid close to $200 less than a year ago for this unit and now DEWALT has failed to COMPLY with THIER OWN WARRANTY. I find Dewalt in BREACH OF CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION to provide either replacement parts or a NEW unit. I hope every other consumer sees this and thinks twice about spending THEIR hard earned money on a product in which the CO.PANY has FAILED TO MEET THEIR OWN WARRANTY OBLIGATIONS.Business response
