After booking this hotel through *********** ... looking at beautiful photos online, my husband and I were very excited about our stay. Looking forward to a nice evening with a King Sized Bed and a beautiful Jacuzzi tub. I would like to note that I was not expecting 5 star service at $133.00 for the night , we were also not expecting to be stuck in a literal nightmare.
Upon arrival, roughly 9:00PM , I waked into the lobby to check in. I was greeted by a man at the desk who took my ID, and started typing numbers into a credit card terminal. Upon looking at his desk, I could see that this man had numerous credit card numbers hand written in a note book , mine included! We made certain that was in our hands before leaving.
While awaiting our room key, a gentleman staying at the property and a hotel employee came bursting into the lobby. He was asking for a refund and wanted to speak to the manager. The manager was "eating" and couldn't come to the lobby, but stated over the phone no refunds. This customer then said that a drug dealer had knocked on his door at 4AM, so he would just contact police. We finally get a key, and enter a double bed room that was repulsive. Cig burns on the bed, blood on the sheets, BED BUGS! Not only was this not the room we booked, it wasn't fit for anyone to stay in. They refused a refund even though we didn't stay. Lets talk about how there were gun shots in the parking lot, 4 other couples with the same " overbooked info" . Drug addicts and dealers everywhere!!!! Screaming across the parking lots, fighting with the employees. Its a complete scam and a dangerous situation . It should be shut down like yesterday. ... Department of Health is my next contact.
