I purchased my home in 2019 but prior to the purchase a new roof had to be put on my home per FHA requirements. Arocon Roofing and Construction performed the job. After I moved into my home I noticed that the fascia board on the back of the home was rotten. So I contacted Arocon Roofing to come out and remedy the problem since the fascia is part of the roof. They came out and wanted to charge me over a thousand dollars for a job that was supposed to be completed prior to the sale of the home. I guess they wanted to milk the new owner to have it repaired. The previous owner paid over $13,000 to have a new roof put on which includes the fascia board. I called them immediately and asked the question if the fascia board was part of the roof. The sales guy put the office secretary on the phone and she told me that no the fascia was not part of the roof. I knew this was untrue. I reached out to the sales guy again and he was rude and nasty saying that I needed to find another roofing company because they can't help me. I had a warranty with them from the previous owner *83 year old woman. Never get Acoron Roofing to do any kind of work because they are unprofessional and unethical.

We truly appreciate all feed back that we receive. We understand how frustrating things can be when they are not exactly what was presented to a potential home buyer. Yes AROCON stands behind our work. It is our pleasure to help homeowners with their projects in a professional manor. When the contract for your roof was presented to the previous homeowner they signed the contract and secured AROCON as their contractor to replace the roof. We followed the contract and we did all work that was agreed on in that contract. The area that you are questioning as being part of the roof is not part of the contract. It is not part of the roof.  The work that was contracted and completed by AROCON is in fact under warranty. I have had three projects done by Arocon this year for nearly $30K. On two projects, poor communication between the office and the installers resulted in problems that required correction. This required multiple contacts with the office. Two downspouts were missed on the gutter install. This required significant work to correct. A gutter also had to be replaced due to large dents from the installers. On the roof install, the existing aluminum siding was cut in an unsightly way and had to be replaced. I had other siding replaced at that time. That install was smooth. This week, I had a range vent installed thru the roof. The work was completed in 45 minutes. I went into the attic and found that only half of the unit was installed and what was installed was done incorrectly. I showed the installer his error. When I called the office to communicate the issue, I was bluntly told the installers know what they are doing. When I returned from work, a more commercial looking *********** unit was installed rather than the specified *****. The installer told my wife, it was all he could find at the store. After sharing my frustration with my representative, I was informed that they installed the vent per the contract, and they were not going to install another just because I didn't like the way it looks. I decided to accept the situation, pay the bill and move on. My mistake. When I tried to connect the duct, I found a 7" vent was installed rather than a 6". I contacted my representative and the office with pictures showing the mistake. I did not require or expect a reply since I had already paid my bill. It is disappointing that no one cared enough to acknowledge my communication or their error. A reducer is not expensive, and I will finish the work myself. Overall, I found their sub contractors to be friendly and skilled. I felt like an inconvenience when communicating problems. I hired the best rated roofing company in my area, but do not feel like I got their best.
