              I was scheduled and confirmed for two test to be done on Sunday 4/28/2024. I was notified by a message left on my phone that my appointments have been canceled. This was due to not having a prior authorization from my insurance company. Due to the fact that Advanced Radiology didn’t request authorization until 3 days prior to my confirmed appts.these appointments were made 4/8 & 4/10. I was not offered to do a self pay. Which I would have done to get my testing. Now I will be waiting 3 more weeks for my needed testing.

              I am posting my objection to the calls, texts and emails I am receiving to make an appointment. I am well aware that my doctor has ordered an CT scan, and will make the appointment when I AM READY. I saw my doctor exactly one week ago and so far I have received 7 attempts to have me make the appointment. I feel this is a bit aggressive, as I said, phone calls, text messages and emails. I would understand if a month or so went by, getting a reminder, but starting THE DAY after my appointment is completely unnecessary. There can be any number of reasons a person is waiting to make the appointment, Advanced Radiology should take this into consideration and give patients some time. It's impossible to get anyone at the corporate offices to discuss this.
