      I purchased a mini stainless steel salt mill by ********** at Crate&Barrel on 6/15/2022. Just a few months later, in September, it came apart as I was using it. I tried putting it back together but it only came apart again after a few uses. I submitted a warranty claim on the Fletcher's Mill website on 9/26 but received a mail delivery failure notice. After calling the company I was given a direct email (resulting in another delivery failure notice) and put through to someone's voicemail (********) where I left a message (but was never called back).I submitted a new claim a few months later, recived no failure message this time but no response either.I finally submitted the claim for a third time on 3/17/2023 and have not received any response. So I called the company again on 4/5 and was again put through to ********'s voice mail. When I called the main number again, the phone was not picked up. At this point I have no confidence that the company has any intention of standing by their warranty as they avoid all interaction and refuse to even respond. Due to this behavior (and reviews on amazon) I suspect that this is a frequent issue with this product and that a replacement product will not be any better. I therefore ask for a refund.

      I am very sorry that you have had this experience.Unfortunately, I did not receive any of your warranty claims. We are looking into why the warranty claims are not coming through to our email and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. This morning, I did receive your phone call that was made yesterday but I have no record of you calling previously as I always reach out to our customers that have concerns or product inquiries with-in 2 business days.

      As for the Pump & Grind, we would be happy to send you a replacement or a refund if you prefer. Please note that the pump &grinds are generally not covered by warranty. Our warranty is for the mechanism only on our wooden *****. Please let me know if you would like us to ship you a replacement or send a refund check.

      Dear ********,

      thank you very much for your prompt response, I appreciate it. I was actually not aware that the warranty does not extend to the Pump & Grind. I would appreciate a refund because this was the third salt mill of that type and brand I had purchased over the years and unfortunately they all broke after a couple of years of use and needed to be replaced. That this one only lasted 3 months makes a difference, though, so thank you very much for your generous offer for a refund.

      There has been no response or action from the business since the initial response to the complaint so there is no solution to the case yet.
