    Worked with Renewal for large window replacement project involving my whole house in April 2023. The large window in my family room was replaced and have had ongoing issues with water leaking since replacement. The window did not leak before being replaced. Water now leaks into my living room every time that it rains. This has led to damage to furniture, window, trim, and Newly installed blinds. Renewal has been contacted on at least three occasions, and has been out to assess the problem, but unable to provide a satisfactory resolution. They are blaming separate issues related to the house, siding, however, again window did not leak prior to being replaced. As a separate issue, during the installation in April 2023 Renewal also started a fire in one of the bedrooms leading to charring of frame boards for the window involved. Window was installed over this damaged area. I have not received a satisfactory explanation for why the fire was started, and no attempts have been made to reconcile the situation.

    Renewal by Andersen makes a wonderful product but extremely pricey. The company is all about sales, and the installation side uses shortcuts and their workmanship is terrible! They hire subcontractors that have different levels of installation experience. I had my entire home and ******* garage windows and doors replaced. The installers used too much caulking, and in my opinion looked sloppy and amateurish look. Caulking smeared onto my deck as well as on my cedar clapboards of my home. I addressed the issue with the Team Leader of the crew, and he reassured me he would take care of the problem, which he clearly did not!In regards to the inside of my home, when installing the new Provia Steel Entry Doors they damaged the sheetrock in several areas of my home, and once again used too much caulking on the windows. Due to the poor workmanship of this Company, I had to spend additional funds to hire my finished ********* to complete the job. It was not what I expected from Renewal by ******** and all the hype about their reputation. A business that weighs success by profits and does not provide extraordinary customer experience. The company sent ***** a long time employee of their company to my home NUMEROUS times to address the issues I encountered during the initial install. It is obvious to me; the company does not communicate effectively, specifically management with the installers. Often times **** would arrive at my home without the necessary parts to complete the job, only to return on another date. I would arrange for coverage / work from home to accommodate his visits. Finally, I reached my breaking point and communicated with the company giving them one more chance to complete the job to my satisfaction or I was going to seek legal counsel.I strongly suggest you avoid Renewal by Andersen, find another company that strives to please their customers, and are satisfied with a fair profit. I am very disappointed with the overall experience.

    Hi ****** to complete this project to my satisfaction and provide extraordinary customer service, my recommendation would be to reimburse me the additional funds paid to my finished *********. Listed below was my *********** recommendation.Replace the interior casing trim on the (9) windows in the owners home. This includes removing the existing trim, installing new trim to hide all the excessive caulking, paint the trim, repair the drywall, and touch up the paint on the walls as needed. Total estimate is $1,885.00.

    Update - It has been (2) weeks since *******************, the General Manager of Renewal by Andersen replied to my review posted on the Better Business Bureau website, notating he would be reaching out to me in the coming days to identify a solution and ensure the project is completed to my satisfaction. To date, I have not received any communication from ****** which proves my point that this company is all about sales and profit and not providing exceptional customer service.
