"State law has safeguards to protect pet dealers, breeders, and animal purchasers.
If within 10 days after receipt of the animal purchased a veterinarian states in writing that the animal has a congenital health problem that existed in the animal at the time of delivery or up to one year old. A veterinarian states in writing that due to a hereditary or congenital defect the animal has died or has a condition that will shorten its life or will require constant treatment during its life the animal is considered unfit for sale at the time of sale.All product sales are final. Defective products may be returned with receipt and original packaging within 14 days for store credit only."
