      ********************** called the Lancaster Heating *********** He wanted them to set temporary tanks for a new ***** square foot addition onto his rental property. At this time we were unable to accommodate his request. Typically we ask customers to call us in the Spring to set up a time for a site evaluation. As the calendar shows it is Spring, the conditions of the ground are not favorable and we were unable to meet his time frame of needing tanks set. Unfortunately this was not explained to him during his call with the Lancaster Heating *********** We have since reached out to ********************** and let him know that we at this time are able to set tanks. ********************** stated that he was going to have another provider set his tanks tomorrow.
      ********************** did state that he would consider coming back to us in the future.

      As of November 24th 2023, I had my oil tank account switched to auto refill. The tank is now empty and I am being charged for a restart. After speaking with a rep on the phone I was told that my account should not have been put on auto refill and that ******* that did this was new. An apology was given but Im still being charged to have it restarted. This is a 75$ fee that I should not be charged for. The error was on Cn browns end and yet I have no choice.

      We have re-accessed the ticket to verify ************ was not charged the $75 restart fee. ************ was charged for 255 gallons of home heating oil at $3.969 a gallon for a total of $1012.10.  We have reached out to ************ to make sure he understands this was corrected.

      I had an oil #2 delivery on 3/7/22. Price advertised on the oil truck, oil companies counter, and their sign outside is $4.19/gal and they have a prompt pay discount of 10 cents/gal if paid in full the day of. I paid in full automatically from my debit card, received the bill, and I have been charged $4.29/gal with a 10 cent/gal prompt pay discount. Yet they are advertising their price for heating oil is $4.19/gal, therefore with prompt pay, I should only be paying $4.09/gal. This happened through Waldoboro, Maine CN Brown, this website keeps putting CN Brown in S. Paris?

      I ordered 100 gallons of propane, they delivered 117 gallons and used an unauthorized card to pay for it, I got a new company which set their 4 tanks aside with almost ************************************* them. They have refused to get their tanks off my property and told me the **** will go to collections because I stopped payment. I did not use the goods they are sitting in their tanks and if they would get them they have the fuel which is equals what the proce was of the fuel when delievered. This company has numerously charged cards and checking account after they over fill without my authorization or even a phone call telling me what they have done. They have not shown up for deliveries and then tried to charge us $100 to come out on an off day. 12 yrs i was a pay on delivery customer and now they are using excuses as to why they can't get their tanks and threatening my perfect credit score with collections on something I havent even ordered or used!!! Ive tried to rememdy this via email and phone calls to no avail. I want their 4 tanks off my property asap!!! My money back I dont owe them they owe me!!!

      I called and spoke with ******************* on 3/02/2022 at 11:53am. She explained to me her situation, experiences and as to why she decided to switch ** suppliers the beginning of this year.

      She informed me that we still have not come to her home and picked up our tanks which do also have product left in them. She told me that someone from our local office had reached out and told her that her account was going to be put into collections for nonpayment. She informed me that she was told that she needed to pay her account balance in full and that once the ** tanks were picked up we then would credit her account. She felt that was unfair. She said we should pick up the tanks, credit her account toward the balance owed and then she would pay any remaining difference.

      I did agree with her. I did ask if we could have a bit of time as currently we do have a driver shortage. I also told her there would be no further collection processes until the tanks were picked up and credits applied. She said that would be ok and would give them a bit of time to shovel anything that *** be needed.

      I asked **** if I could reach back out to her the first week of April/2022. She was also fine with that. I told her at that time I *** have a better idea of when we can pick those tanks up and I recommended someone be home to meet the driver so everyone could be in agreement with what remains in each tank for **. She also agreed that was a good idea.

      ******************* *************************** called Friday the 11 of March and asked if they could come at 3 pm to pick up the tanks, of course I said yes!!! They never showed or called, and she emailed me Monday saying she had an emergency which has nothing to do with the drivers that were supposed to show up!!! Not one phone call as we sat here waiting for hours. Just another unprofessional outcome from this company!!! She called me !!! I was waiting until April, nobody returned and calls yet again!! Just want the tanks out and the 14 yrs of headaches to end with this company !!! This company is fully aware ***** complete disregard for their customers and yet to continues to employ her. Never in my life have I had so many problems picking up a phone and placing a simple order which was also prepaid but always seemed to be some problem, either a no show, filling the wrong tanks, or choosing which card they will use once they over fill more than was requested!! Absolutely the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with!!!

      Joyce, “manager” refused to scan my Maine state id. I have a temporary Maine state paper license w/it. If she would have scanned my license than she could have seen it was fine or compared the dates and info on the paper w/id she wouldn’t do so. I called the corporate office,207-743-4200. Also u will be contacting Maine DMV. This company is not above the Maine state law!

      On August 8, 2021 CN Brown Brewer filled my oil tank and charged me $433.02. During that time I had a problem with the company as they did not notify me that they were delivering. When contacting them, they replied that they tried to contact me one month earlier to determine whether to deliver. I paid the bill regardless of the untimely way they conducted the transaction. During this period I did not run my furnace and had been using my pellet stove in case I needed heat, which was not often as the weather has been nice. Annette Bass of the company contacted me by email on 11.2.21 to determine whether I would like to remain on automatic delivery; I responded to her letting her know that the tank was "a shade below full" but I would like to remain on automatic delivery. I checked the oil tank to see if oil was needed and have had no problems with the oil tank as the gauge has always been accurate. Ms. Bass replied she will keep me on automatic delivery and would not charge me a $20 fee if less than 100 gallons were needed. On 11.3.21 driver Heidi Sanborn delivered oil, yet reported that 240 gallons were delivered and charged me $719.76 (see attached for copy of invoice). How can a almost full 275 gallon tank that was filled in August 2021 and that has not been used need another 240 gallons? Thus the complaint....I have also filed a complaint with State of Maine Fuel Board to investigate their business practices.
