      Beginning in late Nov 24 I notified Clarifion that I had "dead" units that were 1 1/2 yr old and needed replacing as I had purchased the warranty program. I got sporadic responses such as "send pics of units plugged in" - which I complied. Now I have SIX units that are dead. I cannot get a response from their customer service and I have reached out in writing by email SEVERAL times.

      I purchased 3 Clarifion units from this company on August 16, 2024. It was over a month before I received the 3 units. These units clean the smells out of the air. About December 20th, one of the units began humming very loudly. I unplugged it, plugged it back in and the humming was quieter. However, it still hums very loudly occasionally, and now a 2nd unit is humming very loudly. I have tried cleaning the units with no luck, which is the only instructions in the manual that came with them. I first emailed Clarifion's customer support address back on January 21st, 2025. That email has gone unanswered as well as 3 others. So, I began calling the customer support phone number and no one answers, so I have left 3 messages which have gone unanswered. I simply want the 2 units replaced. Yet without the company returning my emails or phone messages, I have no way of getting them replaced.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I have 4 emails in my "sent email" box that clearly show the dates I sent the emails - Jan 13, Jan 21, Jan 24, and Feb 13.  (There is no way to upload emails here.)   Also My cell phone clearly shows record of me calling their customer service line 949-502-0146 on February 17 and on February 18 two times, all 3 times I left messages.

      I did get an email from the Clarifion support email on Sunday, February 23, but they simply told me to clean the unit, which I have explained to them that I have been cleaning the units every 10 days as the instructions say to do.   These units are damaged because they have a very loud motor noise that they are NOT supposed to have.   I asked that these units be replaced free of charge, but I haven't heard back.   It seems to me that they only reached out to me AFTER they received my BBB complaint in order to silence me.   I want the 2 damaged units to be replaced!!!

      This complaint has already been resolved. We have communicated with the customer via email, explaining the reason for the refund delay. The delay occurred because the customer filed a dispute with their bank, and we needed to wait for the bank's decision before proceeding with the refund. The refund has now been completed, and the customer has acknowledged receipt via email.

      I received the initial shipment of the free trash bags for life program and the company canceled my subscription without my permission, and refused to give me my money back. Or re-enroll me for free since had already paid the $106 for the initial charge. I signed up for the program back in January 2023 and I thought I had signed up for the 3 month delivery option. ( I had the 6 month option selected apparently ) And in order to switch to the 3 month option, they had to cancel my subscription and re-enroll me in the program for $106 (which I didn’t pay ) and I’m not signing up for the same subscription when I never gave them permission to cancel my subscription in the first place!! Under the assumption that I had signed up for the three month program, option I should’ve received my second shipment in march and I still haven’t received the second shipment.

      Thank you for your inquiry.  Please allow me to clarify, the subscription is not a one time fee.  To maintain a subscription there is a recurring fee.  You can receive items monthly or every 3 months every 6 months and so on but there is a fee every month.  Our records show you have been in contact with our support team on several occasions.  The confusion seems to be when you informed the team you only want the trash bags but that is not how subscriptions work.

      We're happy to enroll you in any subscription you want but there is a recurring fee.

      You need to tell people that there’s a re occurring fee to get the “free trash bags for life” which means you have to pay $106 every month , every 3 months, or every 6 months. Who can afford to do that ?

      On May 4, 2023 I ordered Cleanomic "environmental garbage bags" for $83.10 and when I received the invoice the cost was $110.10 which was not the same amount of my order; I quickly called back on teh same day and canceled the order, and ********* first said it was too late because she had just processed the order; I protested and she said she was escalating the issue, and I never heard from anyone. Four days later, a large packpage was left at my door and my Grandson bought it in the house; when I came home I saw the package and immediately took it back to the UPS Store on East 53rd Street on 51st and Hyde Park, and I advised the agent I wanted the packaged to be returned to sender, and she wrote "RTS" in large letters on the box and three it in the return bin. I placed an investigation with UPS to trace and recover the box. I am upset because I cancel the order on May 4, 2023 and 4 days later Cleonomic ignored the cancelation and sent the box any way.       You are correct, we cannot cancel orders once they have processed.  Also, as per our website you are at risk of a 50% refund if you do a RTS (return to sender) as there is no way for us to verify the returned package without an RMA number.  However, we will. make an exception and process your refund this week.  Please be sure to see our website for all of the details for returning orders on our website.  Our customer service team will send you an email with your refund confirmation within one business week if not sooner.  We're sorry that we were unable to meet your needs.  Our Clarifion products are amazing - please let us know should you want to purchase in the future and we will extend a 15% discount as a courtesy.
