      Had to have septic tank pumped for sale of house (Isabella County requirement). We called Security Septic. They came out the next day, pumped what we thought was the septic. We paid them, in cash (no checks for them). Had the septic inspector come out after they were done. He advised us that our septic had NOT been pumped and that it was full. Talked to my realtor, former inspector for this service, our septic had not in fact been pumped out and the septic was full. I called business and talked to owner, ****, after blaming us (we did not did out the septic lid--we were not asked to do this), telling us we had two different septic systems (we don't). After a few other excuses and basically telling me that I don't know how to research (I'm stupid) he offered to come back, for a fee. We had already arranged to have the septic pumped. The company that provided the service has offered to stand up in court for us if we sue him, this is still under consideration. The bottom line is that we paid $385 for a service that we did not receive.

      The owner made contact this morning and brought us a check in the full amount.  He stated that he had been busy.  I'm satisfied.
