Stayed at the hotel on Wednesday Oct 9th. Our room was out in the breezway between 2 doors leading to the outside. The doors were scraping metal on metal. Very loud and kept waking us up each time they were used. Then was woke up at 6 due to a fire alarm going off. Complained to the front desk about not getting sleep due to these issues, all he said was maintenance was supposed to have fixed the doors. Due to very little sleep i had to stop again on my way home and get another hotel because i was to tired to drive the rest of the way home

    Good morning,

I received a message regarding a guest who stayed with us recently by the name of ******* *******. This guest was assigned to stay in a room that was in between 2 doors, because it is a pet friendly room. When the hotel staff received word of the squeaky door, they addressed it the issue right away. The guest, *******, was offered to moved to a different room several times that we had available to him so we could accommodate his stay, but he declined and chose to stay in the same room. The fire alarm did go off at 7:00am but was silenced right away, and we did apologize to him about it as well. We do not issue refunds when we can fix the situation and the guest refuses, like in this case. Especially when the guest has also filed a complaint with our corporate office, as well as calling the hotel, alongside this complaint to your Bureau as well. We have already reached out to the guest to settle this issue with him.

    Thank You
