    We paid JD Becker Construction $12,600 on 2/2/22 for replacement of 4 existing sliding doors in our home. Initially ***************************** would ultimately respond to my texts to discuss the date that the work would take place but he has stopped all communication as of 7/19/22. He has not responded to any texts or phone calls/messages after 7/19/22. I also texted personal cell phone numbers for ***************************** and his wife ***** (listed as authorized agent/member in annual filing) and gotten no response.

    Good morning,

     

    Thank you for reaching out to me.  Yes **** ****** did indeed give me a deposit to install four new sliding glass doors.  The company did undergo some unforeseen issues that are being resolved but has prolonged scheduling.  I would prefer to install the doors in the spring to resolve this issue.  Any other questions please let me know.

    ***************************** gave me a proposal for two window replacements on April 16, 2022. The cost of the job was $7550. He said he required $3550 deposit so he could purchase the windows and necessary material for the job. Due to material shortages, etc., he said windows would not be installed until Aug/Sept. 2022, and I agreed with timing. I have made numerous phone calls to his business to attempt to get an installation date, but no one answers the phone, but says to leave a message. I have probably left 50 messages for him to call me over the past 4-6 weeks, but he does not return my calls. He still has a web site advertising for business, but the phone number listed is the same one I have been using to try to contact him. Is there any way I can get this money back? Please let me know what steps I need to do to get this resolved.
