DO NOT BUY YOUR EXTERIOR DOORS FROM PELLA, they are ether junk design or pella installers do not know how to install them. Had ************ exterior doors installed 3 years ago. Door have do not seal to keep air out. Pella has adjusted doors for the entire 3 years & replaced a door twice, but still drafty and leaking air. Always have to double check to make sure they are closed completely, and still do not seal tight. Pella has to told us that for the seal to keep air out the door has to be deadbolt locked all the time. I live in the country and do not keep my doors locked all day, no one does where I live. A door should shut and keep a tight enough seal to keep air out and not be drafty. Pella has washed there hands of my doors and told me they are not drafty, even tho they have said they are leaking air. My loss, leaky doors for 4000$. I feel as a consumer I am left with no recourse, this is not right. I paid good money and feel ripped off. Abandon consumer in Michigan.Pella Windows & Doors, Inc

We have 30+ Pella Series 250 windows installed accross 3 phases in our home, including one custom french patio door. Like all vendors and installers, there were issues, but we are done with Pella based on their latest position on interpretation of their warranty. Our last phase included two plate glass windows that had to be custom ordered and it took 5 months to deliver. Our order was in August 2022, but installation was not until January 2023. We now have a leak, 20 months since our installation, but they are insisting that the labor to inspect and repair are outside their 24 month warranty from their "Sale Date". Please note that when dealing with Pella, you receive a "Contract- Detailed" with a "Quoted Date", but no where on this document is a "Sale Date". 1 starOverall our experience was beyond poor. As I write this review it is December 20, 2023 and we ordered our windows in March of this year.Initially the process was smooth. However, when it came time for the first installation, technically the second as the first was canceled due to weather at no fault of Pella, 10 of the 13 ordered windows were measured incorrectly and therefore could not be installed.Therefore, new measurements were taken at this installation and a rescheduled date was scheduled. In the meantime, we had 10 ill-fitting windows taking up an entire car space in our garage for nearly two months.During I was constantly in contact with a representative at the office, ****, in an attempt to find out what could be done to make this situation right. However, for nearly six weeks of calls and being told repeatedly that he could not make any decisions and his manager ****** was who we needed to speak to but had been evidently too busy to even call back over the last six weeks, we were told we need to wait for the remaining windows to be installed prior to any discussion being done about compensation.When the properly measured windows were finally ready, an install date of August 29, 2023 was scheduled. At that time, all windows were installed but one had a crack in it, a screen was improperly measured, and a cover for the window to slide on was too small.Again, as of today while writing this review on December 20, 2023, those issues have not been addressed despite it being 20 degrees outside and having a window with a large crack.A representative came out to fix the above issues however the replacement window also was broken and the screen was measured incorrectly. Therefore, another reschedule in February to allow time for the replacement parts.Throughout this process, my husband and I have missed now 6 days of work and are pending a seventh, have had to repeatedly deal with severely subpar customer service and have received a faulty product.Review fromDiana A

Bought new windows, but locks broke immediately. Customer service no help. Hopefully someone else can benefit from my experience. Stay away from Pella Windows, no warranty!Pella Windows & Doors, Inc

DO NOT EVER GET PELLA WINDOWS AND DOORS IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY! Their customer service is TERRIBLE, once you sign that ******* contract they forget about you and they gaslight you. I own a window and door replacement company and Pella has always been my go to. Last summer they decided to s**** every vendor except the local Pella franchise and quoted 24 weeks for standard windows and 32 for a 1/2 round. My customer agreed. Then the *** wad pushed out to 37 weeks for all of it! At the same time they said they said they fixed ***s. We ordered for my parents house we are building and lead time was 3-5 weeks (standard sizes, will be in sooner than the ones ordered last June).The night before our windows were due in (yesterday) they pushed out to Feb 1st. Tonight they updated to "pending," so they're pushing it out again?Surely lying about lead times to get sales is illegal. There's no way you could estimate so badly all the time. And waiting until last minute is unacceptable. My guess is they're promoting their monopoly at the local franchise but after backpedaling from s******* every other vendor they're still inconveniencing those companies. I'm not going to the local office, I'll just find a different brand for future jobs-and sell reliability and honesty from the beginning as my justification for higher prices. Meanwhile, you've stolen precious, mild weather when we could be installing windows and siding. Shame on you!Pella Windows & Doors, Inc

My name is ************************* and i placed my widows order in the amount of $37,361 thru Charter Lumber in April 29 2022. When i first got my quote for the windows i was told they will be ready in 24 weeks. After i payed the windows i was told they will be ready December 12, that is more than a month later than the original quote. Two weeks later i got another email stating that my windows will be pushed again until December 22nd.Today is the 21st of December and i got another email that my windows are pushed again until January 18. Im already scheduled to brick the house January 2nd. Charter Lumber and Pella Windows are not to be trusted.Pella Windows & Doors, Inc
