******** company do not hire them they are a scam operation!!!

This company is awful they damaged a wood dresser called it particle board so they would not have to cover it due to their contract didn't even have decency to say hey we broke this, no apology covered with items, make you sign and pay before they unload items and no one at company knows how to do math I was over charged by almost $93. The workers milk the clock standing around talking taking personal and business calls. 1 worker asked to use bathroom was in there 45 mins and had nerve to smoke a cigar in a non smoking apartment community left ashes all over bathroom and odor. the office called the workers over 10 times they were at my home. Arrived at 1130 started billing at 1120 am finished at 6pm tried billing for 8 hours again because they expect you to pay before they unload your stuff and office lady can't do math tried charging me a total of 1850 I gave a $100 deposit and guy told me my total cash payment was 1750 when quote for 8 hours with all their fees was 1799 they were at my home 6 hours and 30 minutes I will never use them again and the guy asked me for cigarettes. I had to help speed up process and carry my own boxes because they kept taking breaks milking clock. They workers body odor was very offensive upon arrival they were dropping boxes and tossing them around awful service, con artists and thieves if I was not smart n paid attention they would of got over $300 extra out of me

I paid $100 deposit. Apartment wasnt ready - landlord was behind a few days in installing carpet. I tried to change move date and they were busy. Went silent. Kept deposit.I complained to **** and they claimed I cancelled on them. They reimbursed the $100 then abruptly billed it again.Dishonest and thieved me for a measly $100 when we wanted them to do the job.

Company refuses to pay for refrigerator that they broke and spioled food broken dishes and China cabinet

On moving day, Kenway Moving arrived 30 minutes late. I hired them to move my office furniture. Then, when they tried to park their truck, they smashed into my ********* Long story short, after almost two weeks, they have stopped communicating with me. Their insurance company won't return my phone calls or emails. The supposed person in charge (*****) told me he would handle it. He is now ignoring my calls. I then went to their parent company in ********, Silverback Moving. I tried emailing the president and operations manager using emails from their website. Both emails bounced back.Now, for the moving experience. They did okay taking apart a very large desk. Then we went less than one mile to the new location. They left all of the screws in a drawer for the desk back at the other location along with their two wheel cart! I saw one of the guys sitting in his truck and I asked what happened. He told me the other guy walked back to my old office to get the drawer. It was about this time that ***** wanted to be paid for 3-1/2 hours even before they were finished unloading! I told them I refuse to pay for the time it took them to crash into my car and he did give me 30 minutes off.I still have a damaged car and NO ONE CARES!!! Do NOT use this company or Kenway!

I was quoted one price and when the movers came I was told another. These movers looked like that havent moved a piece of furniture ever. The older guy smelled like alcohol and was on his phone constantly at one point it was even taking a break and I had to say what are you doing? This is not break time. It took them three hours to move one house and three hours to put the stuff in another house. So I was charged for six hrs. I was also charged a treadmill that was never moved. When i tried to call them they blocked me from calling and sent me an email stating that I signed so the charges are correct. Then I noticed additional charges after the fact. I had to get my bank involved because at this point its bank fraud. Horrible company and horrible customer service and even worse experience

If I could leave 0 stars that would still be too high. Horrible service. Broken items, arrived late, didn't finish job, unauthorized charges in my credit card. The company has now blocked my phone number and my emails come back to me. But, ****** learned. I will from this point look at any business first using BBB.

Do not use this company. This is a scam and a bait and switch. Long version below but the short version is: hands down the most unethical company I have ever worked with. They say whatever it takes to get you under contract and once they have your items loaded they charge you THOUSANDS more than quoted and hold your items hostage. They quoted me $2,800 for a move and at the end I had to pay $7,200 in order to get my stuff. Long Version: I hired them to move our house to 150 miles away. After numerous calls reiterating that we had a larger house with a lot of items and requesting a walk through quote, I was told that they were professionals and knew what they were doing I was naive and trusted them, dont make my mistake. I was given a start time of **** am and was told we would have 3 movers. They showed up at 11 am with only two movers and began loading the truck. They didn't inform me that the truck would not fit all my items until it was over halfway full. I was then told that it would require a second day and a second truck, essentially costing me an entire second move. After the first move was completed, I spoke with the company over the phone and expressed my disappointment that this move would take multiple days and cost me excessively more than what was quoted, despite my numerous calls with the company where we discussed the number of items that needed to be moved. They admitted the completely blown quote was their mistake and apologized. They said they would adjust the hourly rate on the second move to make this right and to trust them. They waited until everything was loaded up on the truck to call me and tell me there was no rate adjustment and I had to pay them another $2,400 or they were going to keep all of my things. The cherry on top was the manager calling me to tell me they never planned on adjusting the rate and insulting me anytime I mentioned that this is not at all what was promised over the phone.

Everyone from the office staff to the team of movers from Kenway Moving & Storage were fantastic. They went above and beyond to assist us with our recent move. We had no idea what to expect with hiring movers and they took the time to explain everything to us from start to finish and help put our minds at ease. The movers were absolutely fantastic. They helped disassemble our bedroom furniture and even reassembled it at our new house. They used blankets and wrap to protect all of our furniture during the move. The movers were very experienced and professional during our entire move. The reviews I have seen do not come close to doing them any justice. I highly recommend Kenway Moving to anyone who is looking to move.

Horrible. I hired them to move my 2 bedroom apartment 15 minutes away. I was quoted ****** for 3 hours. The move took 10 hours and cost ****. They broke my bed and still haven't fixed it or reimbursed me. The manager *** out of ***** is horrible and refuses to accept accountability.
