            Schaafsma installed a new furnace in my home on July 1, 2021`. The following day the utility room was flooding with raw sewage? The installers unplugged the septic pump and never plugged it back in? I contacted Schaafsma and they sent a rep out Saturday to assess the damages. They provided no assistance in cleaning up the sewage overflow. Sewage overflow in my basement is a major health concern, along with the allergies we have, I immediately contacted my home owners insurance. They promptly sent a restoration company to tear out the relatively new flooring, deodorized and installed fans. We spent our vacation cleaning and disposing of damaged items. My daughter and her baby live in the room on the other side of the wall and were unable to inhabit their living space. There were no hotel rooms available so we were stuck in the house smelling sewage, sleeping on the floor upstairs.. Schaafsma has made no effort to compensate for the problems they created.
