    My husband worked for C&L Ward for almost 3 years, until this morning. The employees that install ***************** meet at the ******* ************** up & drive in work vehicle's to the job sites for the day. In November, they switched my husbands partner to a man named ***, they began riding together. ***'s the employee who does the work on the inside of homes, taking in his belongings that came from his home each day such as work ****************************************** *** would spend between 8 to 12 hours a day in clients homes with his personal belongings. My husband worked outside. Over a week ago, our family started to notice random bug bites. I'm a clean freak, I have OCD, so I wasn't sure where they were coming from. I tore our home apart & we sprayed for spiders & thought nothing more about it. That was until last week, *** made the statement that he has bed bugs. My husband immediately panicked & called Orkin that day. Sure enough, we have bed ********** costing us a lot of money to take care of. We refuse to live like that. My husband immediately let ***************** know, a long with the supervisor, ****. ******* said a word to him. My husband let them know that he refused to ride in the same vehicle with *** due to this. We had our home treated which cost $1300 & *** chooses not to have his treated. We explained to *********** that **** contaminating everyone that has to ride with him, but most importantly clients home's hes in hours at a time with his belongings. If it was that easy for him to pass bugs in a vehicle how easy is it for him to pass them along being in clients home's. **** never addressed it. My husband took vacation days to be home & handle our situation. When my husband returned to work today, they wanted him to ride with him.My husband refused, they fired him. Just be aware when hiring this company that they do not care about you or the safety of your home and family. They will knowingly send an employee into your home that has bed bugs.

    ******************* was an employee of C&L Ward for the past three years. Many of our installation employees do show up and utilize company vehicles to travel to clients homes as indicated. This issue as described was brought to the attention of myself and our installation manager. At that time, personal meetings took place and action was taken. *********************** does not work for our company, so it would be hard for her to see these actions taking place.C&L Ward does not know, nor does it have knowledge of everyones living conditions, relationships, ***********. that occur away from our workplace.It is not C&L Wards intention for any of our employees to feel that they are not safe or do not work in clean vehicles and environments. We are very sensitive to our clients homes and are prideful of the cleaning standards that are performed as part of our installation process. In fact, we have a 94% clean and safe rating based on **** surveys returned by C&L Ward clients.We took actions and rectified the issue that was brought forth. ***** was shifted to another work crew and vehicle. The said vehicle and trailer were fumigated only as a precaution as there was no evidence of such infestation as described.***** was not fired he quit. He took his tools from the facility and informed the new individual he was going to work with he was out. I, nor his immediate manager ever spoke or gave him a written or verbal termination as described by ***********************. There are witnesses here that can support this statement.Please remove this review as it can impact the lives of our employees due to someones lies and fabrications.Respectfully, *****************

    ****, I understand why you are on here lying trying to save your *** and your companies ***. But let's be honest for once. To insult me, saying this is all fabricated is unreal. You never fumigated anything. No, thankfully I do not work for you. But my husband did and we talk. You never addressed the situation at all. Not once. You had zero meetings. If you did, my husband would not have made such an issue about riding in that truck after spending over $1300 to have our home treated. You do not care about the employees or their safety. Hence all of the smoking in company vehicles with others whom are allergic. It sickens me that you still allow *** to enter clients homes knowing that he has bed bugs. Just because you have a clean rate to post, doesn't mean anything. So the employees sweep and mop up homes after working. Whoopy. That's not the cleanliness that is being referred to. Bugs are. And no one knows there home is infested until almost 2 months. You keep pointing out that I do not work there and never have. But yet, this affected my family, my little girl, and I personally have the time to speak up on it. So go insult someone else with your condescending remarks. I will make it my duty to broadcast this so no other family ever had to go through this nightmare. And no, he did not quit. He said he refused to work like that, you were still going to make him so he left. He had that right. You immediately without talking to him, took him off of namely. So that is being fired. Tell the truth for once.

    If there was no money, and everything depended on your moral standards, the way that you behaved, and the way that you treated people, how would you be doing in life? Ask yourself that and really reflect. You absolutely need to.

    Lots of promises broken. The employees pass the blame to each other and nothing is done to resolve the restitution of wrongs. They will bully you and twist their response to avoid honoring a very expensive contract I can only surmise that the owners are unaware of these behaviors or simply do not care.

    We are so sorry for any disappointment you have, Mr. ******* I assure you no bullying or arm twisting took place or takes place here. I see that you may have had a section of gutter damaged during the existing roof tear-off. Unfortunately, this does happen from time to time but we ALWAYS make it right. Our notes show we offered you a credit & quoted you for full gutter replacement but you said you'll be repairing the gutter yourself. As I type this, we still have a docusign in your inbox offering a credit for the inconvenience.Again we apologize & we would love the opportunity to right any wrongs.
