AAA Roadside Assistance in *********, Michigan is not worth the cost. For the past couple of years, i have zero success with roadside assistance appearing in a reasonable time. In the city, you should expect service within 30 minuted. However, it takes hours and the online service provides no answers and the wait time for call center is too long. Each time I requested assistance, I end-up fixing the problem by asking other motorists or waiting for family/friend to assist. Imagine being with AAA for years, hardly ever needing to call them because things were usually smooth sailing. But when you do call, you get the *** treatment. "Youve been with us for X** years, and we really appreciate it," they say. Do they mean it? Its hard to tell, especially when it comes to solving an issue.You have an issue. You call AAA. The first agent confirms everything is all set. Great, you think, problem solved! But wait, the problem isnt solved. So, you call again. This time, a different agent tells you theres definitely an issue on their side and theyll issue an internal ticket for IT to look into it. Progress!Then comes the waiting game. One agent is so committed that she marks her calendar to call you back with an update. Spoiler alert: you never hear from her again. Another agent, confident and reassuring, provides her email address, promising she monitors her mailbox closely. You send three emails. Crickets.You start to wonder if these agents have entered a witness protection program. Meanwhile, youre supposed to receive surveys for service feedback. You wait. And wait. And wait. No surveys. No feedback opportunity.Since theres no place to provide feedback, here you are, sharing your story with the world. Michigan AAA, thanks for the memories and the lessons in patience. If only there was a way to get a loyalty badge for enduring the customer service saga.Review from fady a

Aaa insurance in Michigan is the worse insurance you cant trust them I am a customer of 10 years never filed one claim they deny my claim didnt help me or do anything for me the person name is ***************************** shes really bad for that company Im switching my entire family is o diff insuranceReview from Tim T

So AAA could not provide towing service for me this is the second time this has happened so after 12 hours of not hearing from them I called a different company which charged me $632.93 for a tow , so I submitted my reimbursement and AAA only paid for $555.05 they said the $77.88 is a fee to send out a tow truck which they never did so should I not get all my money reimbursed for a service you did not provideReview from Henry F

AAA has HORRIBLE road service. Said a truck would be there within 2hrs. No truck. I call four hours later, truck on the way. NOPE. Another 4 hours same thing. Get a text at 5am telling me truck otw. NO truck. Now 24 hrs later, NO service. F AAA!Review from Kenneth E

I just wanted car insurance and now I'm being billed monthly for a building that doesn't exist. When using the app, you cannot cancel and they refuse to do it over the phone. I have to physically go to an office now and take time off work because of this. When attempting to use their website with Chrome and Firefox, I am redirected and unable to login. When using the app, it will randomly log me out and tell me to try logging in a few minutes later. I cannot print proof of insurance without emailing it to myself.Review from Noreen B

I am deeply disappointed with AAA of Michigan, I have homeowners and car coverage with plus road service membership. On July 5, 2023 I called for a quote on a new homeowners coverage. The agent went through the process and told me about credit checks asked me for different items in the house and measurements. She went through the whole process and neglected to tell me that she processed my roadside membership 10 days early without any warning, I was set for auto pay on July 15, but it was processed on July 5 after I spoke with the agent on the phone . I did not give permission for a 10 day early payment.. I have discontinued auto pay. I think it is an unethical practice for people to take advantage of a situation such as this. it should be against the law.Review from Azam M

I wish there was an option of ZERO stars. The worst Insurance company to have for your Auto insurance. 1- They increase your renewal premiums by more than 40% as soon as you file a claim.2- The renewal premium goes up even if you are a passenger in a friend's vehicle and your friend has an accident, For the love of God I couldn't figure out why and how can your insurance go up if it is NOT your fault or its not your vehicle. Just unbelievable.3- They add additional charges to your premium even after you pay your renewal in full every term. I have called AAA 20 times to understand why they are adding new charges to my premium even after I made my full payment. No satisfactory response even after 20 calls and then suddenly they send you a cancellation of insurance bill. Please find another Auto insurance for peace of mind and fair prices.Review from Kimberly R

AAA failed to provide roadside assistance I had a tire blow out at 11 pm last night. I was with my teenage son and we're stranded on the side of the road. I contacted AAA, and AAA sent me a text saying someone would be there by 11:32 pm. It was nearly 4 am, and still, nothing but canned calls from AAA saying it's a high call area. My complaint is almost, to a tee, exactly what Mad @ AAA R wrote on 4/24/24. This is inexcusable. I have been with AAA since 1993. My son experienced this exact same scenario where he had a tire problem last summer. He waited hours and no one came. I pay for a service but don't receive any. Both of these service calls were made for service calls in the *********, ********, ************* areas for northwestern Michigan. I pay $215 a year for this service. I also pay for my adult children's AAA memberships in ************, ** and *******, **. I gift them this for my piece of mind. What a joke. I'm truly going to question continuing to pay for this service after the second failed attempt for AAA roadside service in one year after last night. btw, I did call AAA last night/this morning, just before 4:30 am, and all I got was someone telling me they'd tell their supervisor. Big deal. What are they going to tell them? Seriously....they need to hire more subcontractors. There are independent towing companies all over the area but they apparently aren't contracted with AAA. One has to wonder why not?Review from Carlin H

Wish I could give a ZERO! I needed a tow unfortunately twice in the course of mothersday weekend. The first tow I called around 830 pm on Friday and wasn't towed until the next morning about 10 am in thus tow I left my keys in the car and left the car unlocked so they could get the keys out of the car. I was told I had to answer to the drivers call and had NO sleep not to mention I had a friend this a mechanic waiting for the car ALL night. The next day I was driving another vehicle and it kept overheating. I couldn't get a ride home because I spent almost 60 the day before on an Uber to get home so I stayed with the vehicle the 2nd time. I slept in the vehicle and couldn't get my medicine I needed. I called at about 550pm and wasn't towed until about noon the next day I kept being told they had limited tow drivers and supposedly they kept reevaluating the call for a tow. Today I voiced my concerns to a supervisor **** who wasn't friendly at all told me this is normal and in the fine print no guarantee on the time you will wait. I have the premium membership and can't even rely on it and very unhappy I don't feel what I purchased is what I've received
