I purchased the axles and first never recieved them, and when they resent the parts they sent the wrong parts and are claiming its to late for a refund. Order date: 1/2/25 spent $130.39 plus $250 cost of repairs with my mechanic for faulty parts because I need to have the work done again. purchased 8 pc front lower control arms inner outer tie rods suspension kit I purchased the product and had it put on. I went to get a wheel alignment and the mechanic said that the part was rusted and needed to be replaced. I ordered on 4/30/25. Brakes and rotors for front and rear for my vehicle. their website advertised FAST FREE 2-DAY SHIPPING on all orders. I received my order on 05/08/25. This was extremely frustrating false advertising. Complaint Against: Detroit Axle Order Number: ******* Date of Purchase: February 1, 2025 Amount Paid: $79.04 Description of Complaint:On February 1, 2025, I placed an order (Order #*******) with Detroit Axle totaling $79.04. The parts I received were incorrect and too small, despite being listed as compatible with my vehicle on their website.On February 23, I emailed Detroit Axle to request return instructions. I received no reply, so I sent a follow-up email. After continued silence, I called their customer service line on March 3 and finally received a return label. I promptly returned the product, and tracking confirmed it was delivered and received by Detroit Axle on March 7.Since then, I have received no further communication or a refund. I called again on May 7 and waited over an hour to speak with someone, only to be told my return was outside the return window. However, I made multiple timely attempts to resolve this issue and followed their return process promptly once they finally responded. Their lack of response and delay caused the return delaynot ****** I am being told I will only receive store credit, which I do not accept. On April 11th, 2025 I had ordered a pair of front and back rotors & brakes for my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee for $255.98 with advertised 2 day shipping. My order did not even ship until April 16th, and was finally received on April 23rd. When i finally received my order, they were the completely wrong parts (assuming for the SRT8 model) I had also received an extra pair of rotors and brakes for the front that was not ordered which do not fit as well. On April 26th I had attempted to work on my vehicle only to realize the parts are too big to fit. I work nights so usually dont have time during the day. I had emailed the company about the mistake on May 2nd through their website portal and received no response. I then attempted to contact their customer service directly through email a few days later and received no response as well. I then attempted to use their live chat, as advertised on their site but that does not work either. After finally being able to reach Detroit Axle's customer service through the phone on May 7th, I was told that i would need to pay an additional $40+ for the parts i had originally ordered to get because the price is higher now, and then they would process my return. Outraged at the audacity of them trying to charge me more for a part i already paid for and that they didnt send me, i just cancelled the return and hung up to report this scam to the BBB since i seem to have no other options.Business Response

I bought a rack from Detroit axle and had it installed! There is a leak so called for a ***lacement and they want me to take this off my car and send back then wait on another one! So I explained to them the shop is going to charge me fees for sitting. As well as double labor on there product! Then they want me to pay a deposit i tol them I didnt have it after having this installed its costed me a lot. And the *** was very rude this how we work! Placed an order (Order #*******) on Detroit axle on 4/24/25. The website said the brake shoes I was ordering were an exact fit for my 208 ****** titan pro. When I received them I quickly found they were not a match. I have tried 4 times now to contact Detroit axle to process a return. They have ignored me. When I called they put me on hold as soon as I mentioned I needed to make a return. They never took me off hold. One of the two items I received was not what I ordered. I returned it following their instructions. I waited 7 days called multiple times and was always told the replacement would ship out tomorrow each time. After 7 days I requested a refund since they obviously weren't telling the truth. They told me 24 -48 hours, still no refund. Every time I call they say they are waiting for the warehouse to cancel the order. It's been 7 days since I called and requested the refund and they keep giving excuses. It took less than 2 days to take my money and ship the parts to me. I followed all the return procedures. But I will note that an inspection is not listed in the return process and their customer service confirmed the item was returned 48 hours after my shipping it. Ordered a front suspension kit on 4/29/25 for $242.62 and was provided a tracking number, then contacted customer support via call on 5/2/25 where I was told that my package was still in the warehouse and that I would be getting a new Tracking number when its been shipped. Then again contacted support an hour later via ********. There I was told that the package has been shipped already and it will take up to 48 hours to update tracking... 72 hours after the shipping label was created for the original tracking number. One person telling me it hasn't been shipped, and another telling me it has been shipped and I can't get a refund or cancel my order. I also contacted ***** on 5/2/25 and they said the package was never sent to them to deliver.Business Response
