    Don't go here! I took a jacket in to have it embroidered. They embroidered it in it in the wrong spot. The order was written correctly. The order said to embroider on the sleeve but they embroidered it on the chest. They attempted to correct it but now there are lots of hole in my jacket. I talked to the owner and he said people make mistakes. I asked for a refund and to be reimbursed for my ruined coat. He refused. They required me to pay in advance. I understand why now.

    Racial discrimination.December 2022, I called over the phone to inquire about a Varsity jacket for my daughter. I wanted to buy a plain jacket to put under the Christmas tree as a surprise for her. Everything was fine as I spoke to the owner's wife over the phone. Upon arrival at the store, it was a different story. My daughter was not with me...this was supposed to be a surprise for her. My adult son was with me. They only had one jacket for ********************* in store. It was a men's large. Since it was not the right size, I said I would forgo the surprise and bring my daughter in on the following Monday to try it on. The owner stated that I would have to ******** to have her try it on! Non-refundable $250! I asked why? The owner said it is his policy because people come in pretending to want to buy a jacket only to find out their size so they could purchase somewhere else. I asked if there was refund just in case the jacket did not fit and was told 'no refunds'.The owner gave a defiant response to an online review that I recently posted. He argued that the deposit was for customization which is a lie! We never got far enough to even start discussing customization. Besides, my daughter was not even with me so there was no way that I would be designing her jacket for her.I believe this policy was made up just for me. I am African American and had my grown son with me. Since this happened, I have talked about my experience with numerous people including posing a ******** question. No one has ever experienced something like this. Never in my life have I experienced such blatant discrimination. Imagine having to give a non-refundable deposit just to try on a jacket.Looking at Varsity Barn's web site, I have not seen any pictures of African Americans having purchased from them. Which would explain why no one else has reported such treatment.I was able to buy my daughter a jacket from a different business. I want people to know about my experience.

    I placed an order in February for our baseball team. Gave the due date. Picked the order up the day before I needed (which was late) and there were no hats which were ordered. The person that picked it up was told the varsity barn told me their machine broke and they couldnt do the hats and gave a refund. No such conversation was ever had. I was told the week before that the jerseys and hats were ready for pick up on May 17. They closed for 2 days and couldnt get until May 20. When I confronted them they told me the full order never came in and avoided ever question I asked.
