MERCHANTS & MEDCAL 129352XX, Ive disputed this account and it came back as accurate and verified. Thats not what I was disputing. I did not claim this debt or collection. I stated this company violated my consumer rights by calling me in attempt to collect this supposed debt which is against the ***** Also, when a dispute is made per **** the company reporting must mail a detailed statement within 5-business days stating the outline of the dispute to the consumer at his/her physical address. I DID NOT receive one from Experian, or the collection company. Thats a violation for both and grounds for immediate removal of the account above. Since they came back as the account being accurate and verified, legally they have to prove that to me and give me the evidence of such. That did not happen again, which is another **** violation. I also didnt give written permission for this company to report to the credit bureaus on my behalf. Which is another violation. 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C **** Section 604 A Section 2: It also states a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish a account without my written instructions. I did not give written permission to this company to report on my behalf. 15 *********** Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt. Im the consumer in this law and I did not give permission to this company and a judge of competent jurisdiction did not either. Delete this account immediately or I will pursue all legal action against you for violating the **** and my consumer rights.

We are attempting to collect a debt from this consumer on behalf of our client.  We do not have to have the consumer's permission to report the debt to the credit reporting agencies.  The consumer has not given us any evidence that the debt is invalid.  We are not a credit reporting agency and therefore the consumer's claims against us for violating the rules governing credit reporting agencies are misplaced.

We reviewed this account with our client and sent the consumer a FTC fraud packet to gather information about the consumer's claim.  Our client confirms that the debt is still owed and the consumer has not sent us any evidence that there was in fact an ID theft.  However, the credit bureaus have deleted this account from the consumer's credit reports and we will not report the debt to the credit bureaus again.

Merchants & Medical Credit Corporation is violating my federally protected consumer right by reporting an account on my report when I have never done business with them and have no contract with. Pursuant to 15 USC 1692d1 a debt collector can not use use or threat of use of violence or other criminal means to harm the physical person, reputation, or property of any person. Them reporting on my consumer report is causing harm to my reputation. This account in a defamation of character and fraud as i have never done business with Merchants & Medical Credit Corporation. I am not liable for this debt with ****** MEDICAL CENTER BOARD and do not have a contract with Merchants & Medical Credit Corporation. They do not provide me with the original application like I asked. I have filed a complaint with the ************************ Report Number *********

We have permission from ****** Medical Center to list this consumer's accounts with the credit reporting agencies.  We have no record of the consumer asking us for anything.  We will provide verification of debt upon written request from the consumer.

Merchants & Medical Credit Corporation is reporting to Transunion and Experian that I owe the company a debt of $1,122. I have asked Merchants & Medical Credit Corporation for the account number that they are reporting to the ********************** bureaus, for all original account statements and if Merchants & Medical Credit Corporation was licensed to collect debt in the ***************** and never received a response or documents after two weeks of contact. If Merchants & Medical Credit Corporation cannot provide me with original creditor statements, then the company should not be reporting a debt to any credit bureau and the account Merchants & Medical Credit Corporation is claiming I have with them should be closed.

We received three letters from this consumer.  The first two, received 3.4.22 and 3.8.22, just asked us to forgive this debt since he could not afford to pay the debts.  There was no request for documentation.  The third letter was received 3.14.22 and demanded documentation of the debt.  On 3.18.22 we sent him validation of the debt in the form of an itemized statement.  The credit report is accurate and there is not need to change the report or close the account.

I contacted Merchants medical credit Corporation to inquire about an account I was informed I has with them from a few years ago. I never received a notice in the mail, a phone call, or any information on my credit reports indicating the debt. When I called I spoke to a Man there that couldnt give me any information about how they acquired my debit, where it came from, my account information, and didnt even ask me security questions for me to obtain my information. It almost felt like a scam. He started asking me for my address and my work information before answering any questions that I asked him about the account and was pushing for me to pay the amount in full on the phone that day, without even giving me any information about Who I would be paying it to or why I was paying it. I had to contact them in order to enroll back in to college classes And am currently unemployed. He was rather aggressive in the way that he was asking for money, was not willing to set up any income-based payment plans when I told him I wasnt working, and informed me that I would not be able to sign up for school if I didnt pay him the amount in full.

We received tis account for collection on 7/17/14 for a 2010 debt to a college. We sent our first notice to the consumer on 7/17/14.  The consumer filed several eOscar credit bureau complaints in 2015 which confirms that this debt was listed on her credit reports.  However, the account has been taken off the credit reports due to age.  *********** has a policy that prohibits a person from registering if they have an outstanding debt to the school, which was explained to the consumer.  If the consumer is unemployed it would be difficult to set up an "income-based payment plan."  The consumer did not offer any payment plan.
