When COVID started I was furloughed and scared. I called Northpointe Bank who has my mortgage to see what options I had if my pay stopped(I had never been unemployed) Unemployment started and with the bonus I was doing well, financially. I was busy homeschooling two children, caring for a sick father and dealing with remnants of a bad flood. When I realized that my mortgage payments had stopped coming out automatically I called and was informed I had been put into FORBEARANCE! No discussion, no signature, nothing. I spoke with multiple people and no one could explain what happened and I got different answers from every person I spoke to. I made up the payments ASAP(I had enough to do so!) and was assured this would have no impact on my credit or anything moving forward by multiple people as I never wished to be in forbearance or asked for anything to change. This was a lie and not the first. I now have missed payments on my credit report. I am so disappointed and upset.Business response

We have thoroughly researched the concerns she expressed and prepared a detailed written response, which was mailed to her on August 19, 2021.
